RVing, Robocop, and $10K a Week: The Vision That Keeps Me Going
"I'd buy that for a dollar!"
– Random TV guy in Robocop, inspiring broke affiliate marketers since 1987.
There’s something about cheesy sci-fi quotes from the 80s that live rent-free in your brain.
Robocop didn’t just fight crime — he foreshadowed affiliate marketing before it existed.
I mean… think about it:
That quote?
It’s basically the exact energy I had when I clicked on my first affiliate link.
But back then, I wasn’t dreaming about commissions. I was hauling trailers, navigating the joys of seasonal park work, and trying to convince my wife this whole internet biz thing wasn’t just a phase.
Fast-forward to today… we’ve lived in an RV for four winters. We’ve run businesses from gravel pads, jungles, and lakeside lots. And I still haven’t hit that $10K/week dream.
Yet.
But here’s the twist...
The $10K a Week Isn’t Just About Money
For me, $10K/week isn't private jets or gold-plated RVs.
It’s:
- Never having to return to a job out of necessity
- Paying a team to keep my websites running while I take the kids to waterfalls in Costa Rica
- Flying my wife back to B.C. without counting pennies or needing a sale to land
- Helping others (like WA members) get traction before they give up
- And yes… finally being able to say “I’d buy that for a dollar” about everything in Costco without blinking.
The Robocop Mindset
Let’s break this down like one of Robocop’s prime directives... but Jeremy-style:
Directive #1: Never Stop Creating
Even if traffic’s low, even if your last blog post got two views, build it anyway. Someone’s always watching — even if it’s just Google’s bot.
Directive #2: Protect the Dream
When people tell you to “get a real job,” just nod, smile, and go write your next post. They don’t have to understand it. You do.
Directive #3: Execute with Humor
Affiliate marketing can get heavy. Bills. Doubt. Tech headaches. That's why humor is my weapon. If a guy can make thousands selling bottled farts, I’m not giving up on promoting solar generators and fish hooks.
So What Does Keep Me Going?
It’s the community.
It’s seeing my YouTube subs rise.
It’s waking up and knowing I’ve got something to build — even if I don’t touch it that day.
WA gave me the launchpad. My crazy life gave me the fuel.
Together? We’re just getting started.
Final Thoughts: The Vision That Drives You
Maybe your dream isn’t $10K a week. Maybe it’s just one sale. Or building a site you’re proud to show your kids.
Whatever it is, let this post remind you that progress isn’t always fast — but it’s always forward if you stick with it.
Because if Robocop taught me anything...
It’s that when someone says, “I’d buy that for a dollar!”...
You better have an affiliate link ready.

This is a good JD, Because i am working on something, someone gave me an idea to do, and when I'm done, you can click on a link that will cost u $1.00. It's in the works and involves flooring, paid per click, but I've got a lot of work to do. Thanks JD for the Motivation “I’d buy that for a dollar!”...
I will have an affiliate link ready.

Keep the vision going. That is the only way to make it a reality, and knowing that your goals are completely possible, I know you can get there with time and energy Jeremy! :)
It is an amazing thing to not care about what things cost! Just buy what you want and enjoy.
