Site Support at WA!

I went to log into my WA website through Site Manager and I found myself facing what is probably one of my top fears...

My site had disappeared!

I felt the panic rising...

I tried to go direct to the site, instead of through WA Site Manager and it was not found. I tried to click on a link I had to the site in one of my emails; not found. So it wasn't a problem with being properly routed, it was GONE

I've heard good things about the Site Support here, but until now I have not had to contact them.

I went to the Site Rubix - Site Support button. Put in a title something along the lines of ""My website seems to have disappeared. Please help!" and a short message telling them my site had disappeared, with a screenshot of the above.

Guess how long it took them to not only just respond but to fix the problem?

LESS THAN TWO MINUTES

Less than two minutes and they had fixed my site and responded to me that it was fixed and to please go and confirm that it was now working.

Less than two minutes.

I was expecting an hour just to get confirmation that they had received my message and would be looking into it.

I'm blown away by how quick they were.

It's an extremely comforting thing to know that if my business suddenly has a technical issue or a crash or seems to magically disappear, that it is a priority for them.

After all, my site being down risks lost traffic and lost revenue for me, not them.

Yet they treated it as urgent and resolved it quicker than I could have imagined.

I love WA Site Support! These guys and gals are awesome!!


Now, the question I worry about is, how long was it down before I noticed? Is there a way to somehow set up an alert that will email me if my website suddenly crashes?

It's a scary thing to have happen! Thankfully now if it happens again, I won't panic quite so much since I know I'm in good hands :)
