On the fence about Wealthy Affiliate? My first month's progress.

Hi everyone! As we approach the New Year and reflect on our accomplishments, I wanted to share what my experience at Wealthy Affiliate has been like and my progress thus far. I figure if I can motivate just one person, then this post was worth it.

I still can't believe how supportive this community is. I have asked questions about how to approach certain topics, and not only do people PM me an answer, they even create a whole training module on it! I hope that as I build up my websites and continue to learn, that I can be as much help as you all have been. Thank you to everyone who continues to make this site what it is day in and day out.

I've been a member for about a month or so now, and in that time I have one website up and running with a decent amount of content (enough that I am transitioning into weekly posts instead of almost daily), and I have just purchased my second domain that I hope to have running within a week. As I maintain my first site I am continuing through the WA training (I am halfway through Course 4 as I write this). And within a month I'd like to have researched and purchased a 3rd domain for a website that really hones in on low hanging fruit, as Kyle puts it.

My first website, nobsfitness.net, is a fitness website. I chose this niche because it is something that has interested me for 10+ years and will be easy for me to write about and help others while learning this whole affiliate marketing game. The issue is that fitness is such a competitive niche already. I am, and will continue to do everything I can to make sure I break through the barriers in front of me, but now that I am more comfortable with building my site and researching topics, I am going to potentially getting out of my comfort zone to find less competitive niches, as this provides the best results.

All this, within a month! So if you are on the fence about becoming a premium member or even joining WA at all, just look at what you can accomplish! It was tough shelling out a couple hundred dollars for a yearly premium membership, trust me, but it is the best investment I have made in myself in a long time. The training here is really comprehensive, and the community you have the ability to network with has so much knowledge and experience that you are genuinely setting yourself up for success. I highly recommend WA for anyone interested in getting into affiliate marketing, so if this sounds like you, give it a shot!
