Finally Finished. Cosmetically That Is!

Its been a long road that I am so proud to have taken. I took some time away from WA to focus on building a audience, In doing so I have a audience of 842 Facebook Fans, 176 Twitter Followers, 8 Youtube Subscribers :(, and 10 Reverbnation fans...which gives me a total of 1046 fans for my concept. I still have a long ways to go but looking forward to it.

Through out that year that has passed, my concept has changed for the better. I first started out wanting to promote independent hip hop artists. After so much negativity with developing a solid staff, I dismissed them and the idea. I had to follow a formula to where it was easy for me to run this website "alone", being the sole benefactor of the success I have a strong feeling it will bring eventually. So instead of promoting Hip Hop artists, I decided to review their music instead. But not just any review...a competitive review with listeners who give their feedback (discussions). This concepts forces the artists who submitted their music to the site to share it to get positive feedback on their music. Instant Traffic!

I came to the conclusion that almost every African American in the suburbs wants to be an aspiring Hip Hop artist. So instead of selling promotion to them, which most cannot afford...(hence the reason why they want to be a platinum selling artist). I decided to offer a free service in which the artists and listeners do the work for me. I write, then rate the review according to my knowledge of Hip Hop (which dates back to 1979). The ratings are based on 5 categories.They take my review and share it with the public for them to rate. Once the popularity of the site grows I will then be able to monetize off of advertising space, and niche affiliate links place through out the site along with plenty of up-sells for the submissions. Now its time for me to just add the content which will be embedded soundcloud links, that I received an abundance of simply by placing a "DROP YOUR SOUNDCLOUD LINK BELOW" into a facebook group that had 10,000+ members. A hour later I had 400 soundcloud links. I will repeat this step because its always new music being recorded, and everyone is "ALWAYS" looking for listeners or promotion. Giving me a crap load of content to review. This niche is based on never-ending content and the automatic ability to get it shared with a ever growing audience.

I bet this niche can work for any genre of music. Just have to find where the artists frequent. Google Groups and Facebook Groups are my stomping grounds from here on out. I will gladly share which plugins I purchased to make this site easy for me to work alone. If anyone has any tips on keyword rankings for my reviews please feel free to share them with me. Although it sounds like I got everything in order, I lack in knowledge in keyword research. I know my reviews will need to rank to get this ball rolling in the right direction.
