Yearly membership, Socrates and new Tires.

I just recently put a new set of tires on my vehicle. Not gonna tell you the cost, but I did take a bit of a breath when I got the bill. It was more of a groan, but I know the tire salesman heard me.

But your vehicle needs tires... needs good tires...to ensure it will get you where you need to go consistently and worry free. I've never debated that fact, since I have never had a flat tire since I was teenager. Back then I bought cheap, sometimes used tires and was getting flats a couple times a year. Your vehicle needs a good pair of shoes, so to speak.

I channeled my inner Socrates and thought about this recent venture, or "road trip" if you prefer, about wanting to be successful online. It needs a good, solid foundation. oh, oh... I see an analogy incoming....

So, my online success needs a good set of tires. Those tires inhabit the form of membership in WA. Thankfully this place let me kick those tires around for free...then for a very respectable $19 for the first month. I've been kicking the hell out this WA set of tires. They are good tires. I just upgraded to yearly for about the same cost as my old web host... and they certainly don't offer training, access to all my domains plus website logins from one spot, SSL included, a community, keyword research tool.. plus all the other stuff I haven't discovered yet. I'm sure Socrates would +1 my tire analogy...

Yeah.. no brainer. I'm gonna go put on a toga now and write some content.
