The Milo Cake in the Microwave
I had to share this with everyone here at WA, Milo is similar to ovaltine or a chocolate health/energy drink, sustagen powder? But we Au.ssies love Milo, even better than Vegimite? ...nearly but not better than vegimite

I knooooooow, you Awesome folks are familiar with Guinness stout.
And what would you do if You had no Bailey's Irish creme around?
Well, I watched my Uncle In Jamaica do this:
One Guinness Stout (in Dark Glass Bottle) version; (tastes better.)
Pour Condensed milk inwards ; Stir the mix to suit your taste.
Sit in a comfortable Chair.
Drink up.. to your heart's delight..
Yes partial to a Guinness, but prefer Draught, or a Killkenny stout, you can keep the condensed milk I prefer vegemite
I'm with you. Vegemite...... puts a rose on every cheek.... (imagine musical notes around this)
I can't even imagine beer and condensed milk together.

It just might recolour any grey ones growing in the wrong places.

The Vegemite.....?
I first heard of that in the 1980's here in California when "men At Work" sang about it.

Vegemite is the yeast by product that is strained off a beer Vat, The yeast sludge, it looks like tar and smell like beef cubes and taste like pure salt, its an acquired taste, that we feed our kids from birth, that's why most aussies love it.....on toast with lots of butter a small scape of vegemite ...yum or place a poached egg on vegemite toast...also yum. The poms call it marmite but vegemite has more punch...

On toast with slices of tomato and fried or poached egg (so long as the yolk is runny) on top. Yum! Making me hungry :)
AAHHhhhhh ... I must tr it out. I hope I can find an Australian babe who will help find some.
Aussie women are few and far between here In Los Angeles. Hard to find one still single and boyfriendless.
Buy a jar of vegemite and walk around carrying it and saying "yummm...". Open the lid and let the aroma permeate the air :) The girls will come out of the woodwork.

Closest I have been to your neck of the woods, was a little island called Okinawa. very nice place.
That is still quite a distance away and the mail language there is Japanese, and it is still a rat rate.
Milo is a chocolate malted energy food made by Nestle, its enjoyed either hot or cold, I prefer cold in ice cold milk with a heaped teaspoon on top, you get the crunch in your mouth and the chocolate milk flavor Its been a staple in most kitchens of the aussie household, great on cornflakes....more aussie 101....lol
