My ranking is giving me grief
I had a holiday went to Bali I was ranking around 230 this is after 2 months at WA, I come back having done nothing in 3 weeks and I'm in the top 200 , ranking at 197, yeehaa I thought?... now back into it this week I added post x 2 new, added comments on sites finished lesson 5-6 of course 5, blogged twice, I went down to 187 in ranking on mon 24th , now today frid 28th I'm at 191?... and this is all while renovating my house to sell prior to building our new house....maybe I should go away again..
I makes me think am I doing this all for my good looks or does WA look at your site and say yep ok there's a post and a few like comments here's a step closer to the sharp end? maybe I'm overthinking this don't know, I'll keep posting and blogging, adding to social sites, and see where I sit next week.
feeling frustrated and not sure If I will last the distance, Best I go have a beer and think about Boot Camp training, and see if I can make some money.

Your rank here will go up and down according to what other members are doing as well as your own activity. If everyone went on holiday the same time as you then they wouldn't be active here either and that would affect your rank.
Ya at 143 I don't deserve it. Spending way too much time in the community and not enough in training and on my web sites.

Similar thing has happened to me in the last couple of days. I am more interested in Google rankings. It is nice to be recognised for your work here at WA but it is not going to get me any money.
Hi John, don't lose any sleep over it, Some members may not agree but WA rankings don't really count for very much, apart from maybe personal satisfaction, it's your Google rankings that will eventually show how successful you are and earn you money.
I answer many questions whenever I can give, what I hope, is a positive reply; get loads of "Likes"; write a blog if I have something useful to say; all of which, apparently, are supposed to improve your rankings, but I still only hover around the 300 mark. Does it bother me? No, I'm more concerned with improving my websites and Google ranking. Best wishes.
It's working on your website and making money that matter, not your WA rank. I'm gradually retiring from the Ambassadorship title because I'm too busy with working for my future. As some of us slip down others climb up. Enjoy your beer :) ~Marion
