Well, I am known for my blunt communication style (seems like we have that in common). The only benefit to interacting and being helpful is increasing your ranking first to the top 200, then 100, then 50, then reaching the ambassador level (25-24-23-22-21-20-19-18-17-16-15-14) and I hear rumors that there is a higher benefit to being in the top 13.

I have not ever once read anything tangible here that indicates that the ambassadors earn money from being helpful. I have heard that there may be payment on a small scale for creating training programs, but I created the 7 Day Post Challenge and have quite a few participants, am ranked quite high in the training offerings and haven't received any credits (community or cash).

I am not an ambassador, but I am ranked at 26 (after being here for 3 months). I am a sucker for helping others. Truly. So unless there is some secret benefit to ambassador ranking that is above my pay grade knowledge, I think the answer is that people feel good helping others achieve their dreams.

So, you're not a doosh; you're just in a community of kind, thoughtful, helpful beings. Though I have come across a doosh or two here (very low odds considering how many people are in this community) but they don't last long...so no worries.
