Shopify stock drops $1.5B thanks to a lone blogger
This is the headline I read in one of my email early this morning. It doesn't seems good to me when reading the headline as I had just joined Shopify and intended to build an ecommerce store later, still researching the best approach on how to.
No, the article is Not a reverse psychology blog with a catchy headline and tells a different things. It is exactly what it headline says and the blog did bring shoplift stock to it knee.
Anyone who read the headline might feel discouraged if you are a shopify affiliate or ecommerce store vendor, more so if you are a shopify investor.
So what is your immediate reaction on the headline of this news email?
it is one of the four news articles on a news subscription received today. The other four is on Legoland, We work, Bloomberg and the last one about a watermelon man. What about the watermelon man? Something that I cannot comprehend. That will be a later blog if I am able to find out more.

The email article is more about shopify stock in the NYSE, interestingly, it says that out of 111 listed company mentioned by this blogger between 2001 to 2014, 90 experienced a long term drop on stock price. and Shopify stock dropped about 11% after the blog had posted with an estimated value of $1,5B.

So what is your immediate reaction on the headline of this news email? If you are shoplift affiliate or commerce store vendor?
Disbelieve, discourage, shrugg off as it does not affect you, or thinking someone is trying to tarnish your dream of becoming an online millionaire?
I always believe we MUST keep an open mind, seeing thing beyond its surface, change the way we see thing and we shall learn and rise against adversity.
It is interesting to learn that different people react to exactly the same article, blog or news or even comment on our WA platform differently. Same or similar comment to different person, you will get different response. Some take it as good advise to further their business, some see it as criticism that you are trying to block their progress.
