Well, I'm making a blog post to track my progress as assigned to me by course 2, lesson 10.

I think I'm doing pretty well. Looking back, 5 years ago I never would have thought that I would own a website, or least of all know how to use one.

Every lesson teaches me more and more how much I never would have thought of on my own, things like SEO, the purchase lifecycle, and ranking strtategies. I never knew those things existed.

The more I spend time talking with the amazing community, the more I feel surrounded in supporters and people who care and want me to suceeed. This is no scam. WA isn't here for your money. WA is here to see you suceed, and they will do whatever they can to get you there.

I am having a bit of difficulty with my content, though, as I did not fully understand the "business" side of things. I think some of that ought to be explained earlier than it currently is. With my current decision, I am finding it very difficult to create posts, and I still don't know what products I could possibly promote on my site.

I would change my niche, but everything that I am interested in is difficult to market. I like interplanetary travel, and the associated developement in technology; astrophysics; philosophy; culture studies, such as Japanese, Chinese, Indian, German, Irish, Scottish, and African; history; language, and sometimes math. They are all great things that I love, but not things I can sell.

I will keep at it, because if there's one thing I've learned here, it's don't give up. I will keep trying, and try to move on through this bout of writers block.

As for my goals for the future, I hope to achieve that "first dime" within 3 months (maybe 6 if things go awry), and hope to be putting out consistant, good quiality videos on youtube to help those in my niche. My original vision of meloncolliemusic.com was an outlet and nerd center, with my main focus being on the videos on youtube.
