All my pictures on my new site show up as I want them to in the editor on word Press but when I go to the site all my pictures are large and take up the whole post. Does anyon

Set the size you want your images to be, in wordpress editor, then click 'update'.

You can easily resize within wordpress editor.

Yes when you click on a picture in the editor you will be taken to an place to edit the picture. The little box in the middle will say display settings. There you can choose 3 or four different sizes to choose. it is better to choose a bigger one and then resize it down when you insert it into your text area. You do this by clicking on the picture and using the square boxes on the corner to make the photo smaller. If you go from big to small you don't lose picture quality. if you display it too small and make it bigger then the picture gets pixelated.

resizing photos in your editor wp- type this search into youtube and there are several good vids.

So I am confused about street articles and how to use it. I cannot find the training on street article that was done by Kyle. Do I post a new and original article there or do

Awesome! Thanks for the help guys. I couldn't find the video Sharon, but I know that it was taught as I was going through the certification courses. I guess I will ignore Street Articles then.

Hi again, Jason.

Yes - when you come across anything about Street Articles (or any other article directory), you're right to ignore it.

Thanks for trying to locate that outdated information.

I'll be going through all the cert courses again, eventually. If it's still there then, I'll find it.

I'm on a (so far, 1-person) mission, lol: Sharon

Street articles is gone, focus on putting your content on your site

Pretty much come and gone. This post explains they are virtually a thing of the past and gives advice and this is in 2014!

Hi, Jason.

Street Articles is an article directory Kyle and Carson have owned for years.

Back when Google was rewarding sites for ALL backlinks (not like now), posting articles to Street Articles - containing links to your website - was a good way to get backlinks.

For some time, Google has been valuing backlinks differently: high value is given to backlinks from related or authority sites, little to no value to other types.

I've been here since early-July, 2016 and I haven't heard of a single member who's published anything on Street Articles during that time.

In fact - I may be wrong - but I don't think anyone's published anything on it since long before I became a WA member.

Where did you find the mention of Street Articles? If it was in a WA lesson, look to the top, right of the page. You'll see a "Request an update" button.

If it's in a lesson, and you'll give me the link or tell me which one, I'll go request an update too.

Sharon

Hi Jason, at the moment the best is to focus on your site. Last time use to be backlinks to your site. So street articles are there to assist. Which you post an article on street articles and get links back to your website pages or post.

So you get the picture here. You target keywords on your own articles to your site where people looking for info or review

Hope it helps

Check that Pinterest is' having issues. They have had some lately!

Hey Jason. What plugin are you using? Sometimes they just have weird bugs like that.

Why won't the pinterest icon show in the social menu?

In the teaching, Kyle says that too many affiliate links will flag you as spam on google. But if I had a store, Or I wanted a page dedicated to the products I promote, How doe

Hi Jason,
I believe Kyle's point is that you create pages dedicated to promoting a single or, at max, a couple of relevant products - each with an affiliate link of course. For the reasons you state, I'm not sure that a page or store page with multiple affiliate product links would work and would be seen as spam by the search engines. An e-commerce store page where the payment gateway is managed within the site (or third-party payment gateway such as WorldPay) is a bit different as it's fundamentally not linking to various different other websites, which can be seen as an unsubtle way to link build.
Hope that helps?
Sean

I think that helps. So maybe you can answer this. I have two reviews now. They both have about 6 - 8 links within the post. Do you think That is too much? You can see them here.

I would say it's borderline. I'd certainly not add any more. I would say 5 very max. Kyle does cover this question in one of the lessons . I believe he recommends no more than 3 a page. But I would think 5 would be OK... 6 or more, then it's starting to get a bit spammy. :-)
