Bing Loves Me, Google’s Thinking About It – Website Update
70 Days & 30 Days In – Two Websites, Two Journeys, One Direction: Forward
When I first launched my first website 70 days ago, I knew I was in for a marathon, not a sprint. Fast forward to today, that site now has 61 blog posts and 3 key pages.
Thirty days ago, I added my second site into the mix. That one has already grown to 23 posts and 10 pages. It’s been a lot of work—but also incredibly rewarding to see progress taking shape this early on.
Search Engine Results So Far
Bing has been the early cheerleader, with several posts already ranking in the top 5 positions. Google, on the other hand, is like that strict teacher who takes their sweet time to hand back your test… but that’s okay. The important thing is both sites are moving in the right direction.
This Week’s Focus – Mobile First
We all know Google loves a great mobile experience, so this week’s goal is to clean up and optimize some of my existing content for better mobile usability. Faster load times, cleaner formatting, and a smoother reading experience can only help improve rankings over time.
The Mindset
If there’s one thing this journey has taught me, it’s this:
Stay consistent. Progress, not perfection.
Both sites are still in their early stages, and I’m okay with that. Every post published, every tweak made, and every lesson learned is another brick in the foundation.
I’ll keep building, keep learning, and keep sharing my progress here—because momentum is everything in affiliate marketing.
Cheers,
Jason

Good to know, Jason,
Keep building after learning your lessons and keep us posted. Yes, momentum fuels you and us at the same time because we love to hear how you are doing it, so that we too might be encouraged to start or keep going when things get tougher.
John
I have to remind myself that this all takes time. I'm also in a highly competitive niche on my 1st website.

I have moved my focus to Bing. Google, for some reason, no longer likes my website and they will not even index any of my content anymore. Cannot figure out why. So my focus has moved to Bing and Yahoo and creating videos and I'm having more success with that.
I found out that Google ranking has a lot to do with the mobile users experience. You can go to page speed insight on Google, past the url and check how it perform on a mobile device. This week I will be working on my visual content and making sure my images aren't too big and they're optimized.
