So, here's what on my mind! How does an assorted (miscellanous) blog sound? I talk about daily desired marterials like cosmetics or headphones! Niche enough?

BTW, Is there a word for "desired material(s)"? I know it's the opposite of essentials. So, would the word I'm looking for be...inessentials? I am currently googling, and term 'recommendations' is coming up. That sounds so much better than inessentials, ha-ha!

EDIT:

I think the terming I was looking for was recommended products!

Are the following niches a miss or go (from order of most liked to least):
Self-care (products)
Camera photography
Shoes; sandals
Baby products
Children's apparel
home appliances
kitchen appliances
travel guides

To elaboarte on other comments, shall I excute autoritativness with presuasion?

Well, the whole idea of a niche is that it's a targeted group of people who have a specific concern or interest. lol. So, the miscellaneous idea isn't really a niche. :p I think one word for nonessential is extraneous. Or maybe luxury items?

Welcome to WA and good job getting started. :)

Hi Jasmine,

I think if you tried that you might confuse your readers and the Search Engines this sounds to me more like a social style blog and not an affiliate marketing style blog. (just my opinion, others may disagree with me)

How could you insert your authoritativeness into such a blog?
I'm curious: how do you plan to monetize this type of website?

Additionally, a list of words that are opposites of essentials would be luxuries, extravagances, amenities, or indulgences.

Thinking outside the box is wonderful, as long as it's not too far out there. :)

I hope this will help you,

Calvin
