"How is your rank so high?"
So high, so low... I'm referring to top 200.
So someone recently questioned my rank, "how is your WA rank 112 and you only have 2 blogs to your name?" ...so I figured I'd add this one to make it 3 blogs now :D (moving on up)
Anyway I simply informed them, all I do is help people on here, nothing too crazy... I just really enjoy helping others where I once struggled. If I see a question I have an answer to, I do things like answer it, make comments like "good job" and "you got this."
My fulfillment on and offline encompasses a wide range of experiences but the bulk my happiness stems from one word, "INSPIRE." Personally, there's no specific car, mansion or tangible object that can ever measure up to the intangible experience of inspiring someone else to keep going after their goal!
There's something about helping someone less fortunate(or less knowledgeable) that causes me to have more gratitude about my life in general. I hold doors, elevators, I say good morning and I smile at folks because it costs nothing to do. Moreover, I may have inspired someone else relay that same kindness I offered them.
If WA stood for "Wow Artichokes" I'd share great artichoke recipes with the fellow Wow Artichoke members...It's kinda sorta...what I signed up for here because I can digest info all day from Wealthy Affiliate or Wow Artichokes I suppose.. but if I'm giving NOTHING back to others in the community, I rob myself of the joy of inspiring.
So yes, my rank is 112(not really because it's 117 now...may be 120 tomorrow who knows) but it's only there because it's in my nature strive to make a difference in the world.. if it was in your nature too, imagine how many addtional success stories we'd have at Wow Artichokes.
Goodnight

Jaron, congratulations on you ranking...I'm movin' up too!!
Best wishes to your success!
Thank you Tammy,
I "maybe" began with the intent to be more active in the community and get my ranking up... but the more people I helped, the ranking didn't matter as much as the impact on other people did.
Great feeling
Jaron. I always say this. When you do for others, it will come back to you ten fold. I think its wonderful that you are so willing to help others. You will go far in life with gratitude. Awesome post.
Great to meet you, Jaron!
Ah, yes.. the good ole ranking debate, lol. I just made a year with Wealthy Affiliate, but I know of others who have been here for years, and it seems that there will always be those who question someone else's rank, whether it's with sincerity or speculation.
I have ceased trying to figure out the WA algorithm; I've been as low as #700,000 and as high as #11. But regardless of the number near my profile pic, the real treats are found in the members. I don't think my addiction will ever end!
It's incredible that you can teach, learn, inspire, encourage, challenge, and just "listen" to people without leaving your couch or chair! If the WA algorithm wants to "reward" me to do something I thoroughly enjoy...who am I to argue!
Keep spreading that love, Jaron...or artichokes, lol.
hahaha! Absolutely! If it's 11:50PM and I haven't done my 2 good deeds for the day I open up WA and see who I can assist right from my kitchen chair like you said. It's an awesome feeling!
I think the WA algorithm is simple as wealth, business and human relationship principles...or LIFE principles really, "..be nice and give back out of love..." I feel whoever thinks this way will rank high in ANYTHING they're doing!

Blogging here doesn't count much to your overall rank xD. I managed to get to rank 16 with just seven blogs (I think) back in 2015. Glad to see a member who has been here since before I was 14 has returned :D
haha yeah I remember my very first day, when I left home that day I was playing Maybach Music on my way to work. I never even thought my own website was possible but a week late later I had one.
