Does anyone know if we can add a link to our site from our blog posts on here? I would like to link my "A Dog's World" to my social media accounts and my second website. I know

You can place a link on your website that sends the visitor to your WA blog post, or for that matter to anyone else's WA blog post. You will find your referral link at the top of members' post, where it says "Affiliate" and you may embed that on your website.

What you cannot do is place your website link here in the community, except for the designated threads where that is allowed, such as the give and take feedback and comment threads.

With social media, yes, you can share the link to your WA post. I don't know if social media will see it as a referral link or not.

Because when the visitor lands here, the signup form will pop up after a few seconds. They can close it and continue to read. Try it out when you are logged out of WA, and you will see what I mean. For that reason, don't go overboard with it.

Oh, that would be awesome! I just don't want to break any of the content rules for WA, or Google, or anyone, for that matter!

Ok, sounds good, thanks for the quick reply guys!

It is against the rules to add links to our website on our personal WA blog posts as far as I am aware of. But you can add your site addresses on your profile under Follow me at: section. (bottom right)

You can link them but don't copy and paste them. Also make sure that you cloak your link from here as it still counts as an affiliate link. When I do that I pretty much still consider it as a 'review' type post meaning that it has affiliate links. Not that it is an actual review.

That way I won't overdo it and get in Google's bad books.

Hope this helps :)

Thanks to you all, I've got it now! :D
