Is the line between child abuse and disciplinary actions being crossed too often ?

OVER THE YEARS PARENTS SEEMS TO HAVE FORGOTTEN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ABUSE AND ESTABLISHING DISCIPLINE. DISCIPLINE IS THE PRACTICE OF TRAINING SOMEONE TO BEHAVE IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULES OR A CODE OF BEHAVIOR, OFTEN LOOKED AS PUNISHMENT"

WHICH MEANS TO INFLICT SUFFERING FOR PAST ACTIONS. PUNISHMENT BEINGS HARM TO THE BRAIN OF CHILDREN WHICH MAY LEAD TO FUTURE DISORDERS LIKE DEPRESSION, ANGER ISSUES, ETC.

FURTHER MORE, ALL PARENTS/GUARDIANS SHOULD HAVE A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF THE LASTING IMPACT THAT THEY ARE LEAVING ON THEIR CHILDREN PHYSICALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND MENTALLY.

ABUSING A CHILD FOR BEING A CHILD IS FOOLISH AS IT SOUNDS, CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 ARE STILL IN THEIR LEARNING STAGE OF LIFE AND ARE BEING PUNISHED FOR TRYING TO LEARN.

FOR EXAMPLE, YOUR NINE YEAR OLD BREAKS A HOUSE WINDOW PLAYING WITH A BALL, FOR YOU TO LASH OUT AT THEM PHYSICALLY IS SCARING THEM AWAY FROM EVER TRYING SOMETHING NEW BECAUSE THEY HAVE BECOME INFUSED WITH THE IDEA THAT YOU MIGHT PUNISH THEM AGAIN.

INSTEAD OF PUNISHING THAT CHILD, SPEAK TO THEM, DISCIPLINE THE AND STEER THEM IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, NOT ONLY ARE NURTURING THEIR MINDS, THEY ARE LEARNING.

IT'S ONLY ABUSE IF IT'S VIOLENT." THIS IS A MYTH. ACCORRDING TO HELPGUIDE.ORG, CHILD ABUSE COMES WITH MORE THAN BRUISES AND SCRATCHES, EMOTIONAL ABUSE AND NEGLECT ALSO LEAVE LONG LASTING SCARS ON CHILDREN.

CAUSING A CHILD TO FEEL WORTHLESS OR IDIOTIC CAN AMOUNT TO SERIES SELF-HAEMING IN THE FUTUER. THESE LASTING EFFACTS CAN CAUSE LACK OF TRUST AND RELATIONSHIP ISSUES, IT'S VERY DIFFICULT TO LEARN TO TRUST SOMEONE WHEN YOU CAN'T TRUST YOUR OWN PARENTS,

THIS CAN LEAD TO UNHEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS WITHOUT THEM NOTICING BECAUSE THEY ARE UNAWARE OF WHAT A GOOD RELATIONSHIP IS SUPPOSED TO BE.

CONTROY TO SOME PEOPLE'S BELIEFS, WORDS AND EMOTIONAL ABUSE CAN HURT THE INEXPEIENCED MIND HENCE DAMAGING CHILDREN'S SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND MENTAL HEALTH.

SOME EXANPLES OF THIS ARE TELLING A CHILD THEY'RE NO'' GOOD'' OR A MISTAKE,'' CONSTANT BELITTLING AND SHAMING, AND MAKING NEGATIVE COMPARISONS TO OTHERS.

IN CONCLUCION, ABUSE A CHILD GIVES THEM A SENSE OF UNPREDICTABILITY, MEANING THEY ARE CONSTANTLY ON EDGE NOT KNOWING WHAT IS GOING TO SET THE PARENT OFF.

ABUSE ALSO RESULTS IN CHILDREN FEARNG THE WORLD BECAUSE THEY LOCK SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, OUR KIDS ARE OUR FUTURE, LETS TEACH THEM AND STEER THEM DOWN THE RIGHT PATH, TAKE CARE OF THEIR MINDS AND KEEP THEIR SPIRIT UP

Hi

In these days there are so many different kinds of abuses, but in peoples eyes, they are judge different. The line is easily crossed.
Parents use technology to keep their kids quiet and entertained. That is for me one of the worst abuses that you can do to a child.
I see it here every day where the kid is asking mum or dad for attention, but mum or dad is too busy answering her chat emails or playing on social media.

My Grandmother was always saying to me, people need a driver licence to drive a car, but everyone can raise children.

You are so right and I only seeing it getting worse

Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him. Pro. 22:15

The manufacturer always leaves a manual of dos and don'ts for his product. And you know what, most people follow it to the letter. Those who don't, reap what they sow.

The Creator left His. I see that all of us who think we know better than Him, reaping what we sow.

There's a huge difference between discipline and abuse. Today, many seem to have done their best to blur the line. In so doing, the tender plant which would have grown straight, is bent out of shape. The very persons who neglected to straighten them are heard call loudly for them to be chopped down.

Yes back in the days was the best now we have all kind of System and a million and one reason
In today world the system change and the kids with it
But again if you take out the Bible out of school this is what we get

Sadly, parents have followed and taken it out of the home too. Or could it be that it was thrown out of the home long before it was removed from the school. That's why it was so easy to remove it from our schools.

You are so right I agreed
That’s why the world is what it is today
Stay bless

Be blessed too Janet.

Back in my day all my Mom had to do was give me "the look" and I immediately knew to get my act together. Times were simpler back then and right from wrong was a no-brainer. These days it's seems good judgement has left the building and disciplinary actions are next to known.

That was the good old days
When kids was kids
