Give to charity without using your own money.

Last Update: November 27, 2018

Hi all,

I am a big believer in giving to certain charities especially around Christmas time.

I have found a site that lets you give to charities without having to use your own money.

There are 6 ways you can do this. This site will explain how.

https://www.cnet.com/how-to/ways-to-give-to-charity-without-...

I hope you find this helpful.

Regards

Janet

There are so many charities that only a small percentage gets to the people who need it. Always check out anyone you donate to. I personally like to give my time and money to our 4 legged friends with food, toys, walks, adoptions, etc...at the local vets, kennels, and hospitals.

Yes, there are many devious charities around we need to be careful. I would give my time if I were closer to the city but I live out in a remote area of Australia.
Thanks for replying

Kiev, Ukraine. My parents were born in 1905 and 1921, so they are long gone and a few first cousins scattered about is not enough to keep me in america. I can work from my computer so it was an easy decision to make. 2-3 hours from all the European capitals and the cost of living is 75% cheaper than the usa.

I hope you make it back home soon.
I live in Australia but I am originally from the UK. There is nothing in the UK for me anymore, besides I love Australia.
I class myself as an Aussie now, that is till I start talking with my English accent. LOL.
Take Care

I just have always loved accents. English(my niece) and Aussie(Crocodile Dundee) are two of my favorites. Ukrainian won a award in a international competition as being the most "melodious". Persian, French, and Italian were other award winners.

Thanks for sharing Jan!
I would love to have extra money to donate but it’s just not possible.
These are great alternatives.
Blessings,

Yes, the alternatives are great to know. I am a retiree so it's hard for me to actually donate money.

I find the best charity is giving of myself. I like your idea. But we can also give of ourselves. I like to take my son once a month to the local homeless shelter and we strip and remake beds for the homeless that come in each night. We also serve them at lunch and dinner. This a great way to show young adults the other side of life.

How lovely,
Thanks for your comment.
As I said in another reply if we all give just a little the amounts add up.
It's a wonderful way to help the needy.
Thanks again

Awww that is really kind of you, I really hope that someday you will really be rewarded for all of the help you give.

Thank you so much. It doesn't have to be difficult or expensive to give to charity. If everyone gives a little bit it all adds up in the end.
