Having problems getting into my sites...https://cookingfoods.net and https://makemonieonlines.com

both are okay

Like both sites. I find the baking site more appealing as I bake occasionally. I find it very therapeutic,

I was just able to get to your sites.
Nice work by the way!

There was a problem with hosting. My sites were down, I contacted them and it started again.

I can get to them James, are you able to now also?

the sites are working now support fixed it here is what support said.....
OK. Your sites were temporarily affected due to a recent roll-out of some new DNS server technology. This should now be resolved.

Hi again James,
I just wanted to let you know I can access your sites and I came to such a wonderful site of Baking Pies and More. Looks sooo good. I've bookmarked it for later. Yummy yummy! So your sites are not lost completely, I got to them. You'll find them. Try the unplug modem and wait 10 seconds before replug.
Good Luck!

Great James! My other solution to mine being down was to wait awhile and see what happens but it's such a frightening thing when you can't get to your sites. You want to take some action to make sure all your valuable info is still intact. I know you are relived now.
Have a great day/night!

I just had the same problem. Then I tried to get to my sites via typing them in manually instead of via WA. There was a diagnostics link so I went to it to see what it said. It said my connection access point or cable modem and internet is broken.
It suggested unplugging modem and wait at least 10 seconds then replug in. All my other things I could get to, very strange so I tried the unplug suggestion anyway and then it worked. Hope this is of help to you.
Gina

its working now should be okay.

I was able to get in. You might want to refresh your browser.

Same here. Probably Kyle and Carson incorporating the new Site content feature so can get ready for use on our sites, or could be some other other reason this.

I am very new to this website thing and internet marketing can someone explain to me what does bounce rate mean

Great topic and discussion.

Thanks James,

Leon B.

James,
Many great answers down below. So, I won't add my two cents..lol
Kathi

lots of answer for you.

I'm I understanding this right, A high bounce rate is a bad thing. People come to your site and just leave without a purchase.

Your goal is to have a low "bounce rate." You want your visitors to read all what you are offering and to take some sort of action.

To deter ' bounce' (although this is not a direct answer to your question.) ensure fast load times - take a purist attitude toward plugins and LARGE images, quality content that grabs the visitor as soon as they get on that page and a friendly approach to presenting information they are looking for.

It is a measurement, giving you an indication of how many visitors "hit and bounce away" from your website. That is as soon as they are on your website, they leave immediately.

If you have a high bounce rate, consider removing pop-ups if you do have on your website.

Pop ups is one factor that increases bounce rate.

bounce rate I believe is a percentage rate where you have a draw back in the total number of membership

the percentage of visitors to a particular website who navigate away from the site after viewing only one page.
"a rising bounce rate is a sure sign that your homepage is boring or off-putting"

thank you Mr.Kearns

Or your website is slow and people aren't waiting for it to open. They obviously didn't visit more than 1 page.

It represents the percentage of visitors who enter the site and then leave ("bounce") rather than continuing on to view other pages within the same site.

Bounce rate is a useful measure of the effectiveness of a website in encouraging visitors to continue with their visit. It is expressed as a percentage and represents the proportion of visits that end on the first page of the website that the visitor sees.

thank you for the information
