Social media could be likened to network marketing. You post on Facebook and your friends share your post. Their friends share your post. This is referred to as going viral.

There are other reasons to use social media. Did you know that your post can show up on google. This brings me to my reason for this blog.

If you are not using Google + (G+) you may be missing out on a lot of traffic. If your content is relevant to your keyword you could end up on the first page of google.

I personally have several post on the first page. My latest was two days ago and already in the 3 position, the first page of google. The second post is in the 6th position. My keyword phrase was, start a home business.

Most of my post that is on the first page of google are through G+.

If you do not have a G+ account it is very simple to get. Go to, or get a Gmail account. You can signup for G+ through Gmail.

Hope this helps those that do not have a G+. Of course, you have to share it on your G+ account.
