Stuck in a rut

I have been working on my site in the money making niche for over a month now and I've made some considerable progress. However, after writing 20 posts I have no hit a brick wall and can't think of see any more ideas for content. I see this as a struggle and maybe something to question if I should be doing something I'm more knowledgeable/ passion about.

At the minute, I'm a little low on mood you could say because my brother is about to get his first pro football contract. Obviously I'm so happy for him but I feel really lost in myself. This is because I've always had a great desire to success but just don't feel like I am on the right track to achieve any.

My other interests include football/travel and music

I just feel like I am really stuck at the minute and any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm not complaining I just thought I would make the most of this supportive community.

Cheers,

Jake

Hey jake,

have you tried looking for competing websites to see what they write about? It can be great for inspiration. Can I ask what the niche is that you have chosen?

As for other people's successes... I understand how you're feeling, it's not easy to see people around you having success while it just doesn't seem to work for you. But that is the wrong way to look at it. You seem to be a smart guy with ambition (otherwise you wouldn't be doing this), so first of all you are already doing more than most people.

You said it yourself, you feel like you're really making progress, do not break your momentum, keep things going. If you feel you hit a brick wall with your current niche, then look for ways to get inspiration, check out some motivational courses for a while or take a small break but do some exercise, clear your mind...
but whatever you do, do not break your progress cycle, progress is growth and growth is life.

You're on the right track, so do not let that brick wall stop you, there might be some diamonds behind it :-)

Btw, it can be important to really determine what "success" means for you, because if you do not make it clear for yourself what exactly you need to achieve to feel successfull, then you will never feel fulfilled.

Cheers!
Stijn
