How To Qualify For Good Affiliate Networks

I remember when I started my website about a year ago, about one month later, I applied to the different affiliate networks, which were suitable for my niche, which reviews physical products.

But because I had about 10 how-to posts, I didn’t qualify for any of the Affiliate Network programs.

Why?

Because they want to see review posts.

Now here is the perplexity of the situation. You can’t write review posts without having a product to review or somewhere to collect the affiliate commission. Isn’t this the reason we are in the affiliate business?

So we have all heard that Amazon has changed some rules about their fees. They’ve lowered them substantially.

But if you want to gain traction on your site by reviewing products, you may have to go with them.

Write reviews of products which have actual websites created for them or the link will have to stay pointed Amazon (I have some reviews where the merchant doesn't have a site, but is a seller only on Amazon, so those products links cannot get changed).

After I found out about the fee structure change, I applied to different networks, but this time I had over 100 reviews posts.

I got accepted by all of them. Not saying you will have to write 100 review posts, but maybe go with Amazon until you get at least 20 reviews posts. It will make your stie look more attractive to other affiliate networks.

Not promoting Amazon at all, but they are the easiest to become an affiliate with.

Even if you don’t make the required sale with your review posts, you will still be able to apply to other networks once you have enough review posts on your site.

But on the other hand you might start making money which means you will know your niche is a good one.

Something to think about.

Welcome

Thanks for sharing this suggestion. I didn't have a clue that the # of reviews could be the problem.

I noticed it was for me as I feel merchants want to see our writing skills to promote their product.
