My fourth Blog. Starting to get into the swing of things!

I have just completely my fourth article on my web page, and I am finding the process to be long winded because I am a bit of a perfectionist. I am also finding, however, that I am starting to like the process; like a marathon runner who begins to enjoy the pain in his feet, the burn in his lungs, and the thrill of the race.

I chose the image above because of the feeling it gives of being in a time-warp. This is exactly how I feel when I am sitting at my computer desk writing. One minute it is daytime, then night, then day again. I feel like time is on a continual loop and I am just sat in the centre of the loop, transgressing time in my own little bubble of thought.
I belly-laughed when I saw the caption/title of the image above. It is called "marathon runner cheats by taking the bus", and this is exactly how I feel sometimes when building my website. "Isn't there a quicker way?" my mind protests. I know that there are no short-cuts though and that through this process I will become better at my trade and nearer to my goals.

This blog wasn't intended to be particularly informative this evening, but more as an outlet for my feelings... my excitement of actually progressing with my publishing dreams couldn't be contained.
