Please help! My website has been indexed, but none of my articles are?
Hello, everyone! I have a question that I'm hoping someone will be able to help me with.
My website has been indexed in Google for a while now. However, I recently discovered how to see if your actual articles/posts have been indexed, and I was very sad to see that not one of my articles have been indexed. When I searched in Google, I also couldn't find my website at all, though WA says that it is indexed.
Does anyone know why that would be? All of my articles have comments, and I have been sharing them to social media, now that I'm in that phase of my training. Is actual article indexing something that just happens slowly as your website gains more content? Or am I doing something wrong, or not doing something I should be?

Content and posts are very important. It is not unusual for your site to be indexed and no posts indexed. You need to check your content.
Is it relative? Does it contain your keywords? How long is it? Short posts tend to not rank well.

All of my posts are relative, contain keywords, and are over 1,000 words. I'm wondering if my website needs to be fuller?

I’m in the same boat as you. Only two of my articles out of 11 have indexed. The ones that have indexed are the oldest ones so google seems to be indexing them in order of when they were published. They’re a month old so for me it’s taking a month.
I’m sure you’re doing all the right things, it just takes time.

Okay. My oldest articles are about 5 months old, but I didn't share them on social media until very recently, so maybe that slowed it down?
Most of my articles were published within about that last month or so, so that makes me feel quite a bit better. Thank you!

I'm thinking the fact that I posted so irregularly until mid-to-late September didn't do me any favors. I also didn't set up Google Console and have a pretty broad niche with lots of competition, so that's probably slowing my progress as well.
I've set up Google Analytics, but not the Google Search one. According to Google Analytics, I've had one organic visitor to my page, though I'm not sure how, if you can't find me in Google.
I'm no expert on the topic but what I noticed with my site when it was first set up is that I didn't get any articles indexed until I'd set up both analytics and search console I believe. Not absolutely sure but this is what I think happened. Once you do the lesson on analytics and search console indexing follows.
Also, other members have been reporting Google being slow to index articles lately and that google is updating and this is the reason so just soldier on and it will come. Just follow the lesson. After you are finished with the search console and about 2 weeks have passed then maybe you need to worry.

I did the training on Google Analytics, but I don't remember anything being on Google Console. There was a 'Google Plus or Minus' lesson that said it was being updated and was not currently available - is that where we learn about Google Console?

@DCarribeanQ!), and a few of my articles are now indexed. Thanks for the help, everyone!
