Finally Nailing It: How I Turned "Professional Disappointment" Into My Best Niche Yet
We’ve all been there. The "shiny object" phase.
I look back at my dashboard of abandoned projects and it looks like a graveyard of good intentions. I’ve tried the keto diet blogs (too hungry), the pet training advice sites (too loud), and I even dabbled in "mindfulness for busy moms" (I am neither mindful nor a mom).
It has been a long, winding road of keyword research and staring at analytics that wouldn't budge. I kept trying to fit into boxes that everyone else was already occupying.
But I finally nailed it.
I stopped trying to be helpful, and I started trying to be… well, funny. And maybe a little bit cruel.
Introducing: The Executive Prankster
I realized that there was a massive gap in the market between "Cheap Gag Gifts" and "Corporate Professionalism." So, I built a bridge right over that gap and set it on fire.
My new site focuses on Luxury Pranks for the C-Suite Soul.
It’s not whoopee cushions; it’s "Asset Liquidation Strategy" binders that are actually full of glitter. It’s not a fake spider; it’s a "Tiffany's" box that contains a hard-boiled egg.
Why This Niche Wins
- Emotion: It triggers a visceral reaction. The "Trust Issue" Collection I just launched is getting clicks just because people can't believe the audacity of the packaging.
- Visuals: I stopped using stock photos of smiling people shaking hands. Now, I use high-end, editorial photography of disappointment.
- The Angle: It’s "The Executive Suite." It feels exclusive. It turns a $5 gag into a $50 "experience."
The Lesson?
If you are stuck in a niche that feels like a chore, you’re probably in the wrong one. I spent months writing about things I didn't care about. Now, I spend my days writing copy like "The cruelest prank you can pull is raising expectations to the stratosphere, only to crash them into the basement."
And I’ve never had more fun doing it.
Check out the new layout. It’s clean, it’s corporate, and it’s completely deceptive. Finally, a site that matches my personality. 😉
Here’s to finding the weird angle that works.

I love that you have finally found your passion. It's never easy but you have to be persistent if you gave up, you would still be looking at incomplete projects. Congratulations on this great accomplishment.
Thank you, but you are right... it has only begun!
