Leaving my 8-5 job and working for other last day Friday May 6th, and working for myself. YES!
An insight, my 4 month journey in WA and how it influence my decisions..
Friday 6th May is my last day in a job I have close to heart for 17 years. It was like a baby to me that I build from infancy, nourished, taught to walk and now in the adulthood. Why the change? Never is my father's company or my company in any way. Secondly, being in senior management and leadership role, it was unethical to serve two or more other masters. And thirdly, my time has come for me to move.
Equipped with my WA acquired skill sets, I feel a lot more confident and ready to relaunch. Working on my affiliate marketing skills (made 25 cents so far by google ad sense), and potential revenue (from referrals, yet to complete), I feel great. I have consultation websites. Just built my consultation site (http://tnetsolutions.net/) which seems very promising to market and exposure my business and stay regularly updated.
I had also spend time to assist friends in need of websites and have a good hang of this. I feel great about this and help me to learn even more. This is also now a service I am offering apart from my professional skills.
WA is definitely the place to learn and grow your dreams, provided you commit time and effort. Thank you to you all my WA friends and awesome community for support and endless knowledge database and Kyle, Carson and WA tech team for WA platform and Open Education spirit. Together we can grow.
Hope this can inspire those who may be walking the same path as me.

Jack, your move encompasses all I'm looking for from WA. Though I have still a little way longer than you, having been with my current employer for 10yrs this year, my target however would be to be able to generate enough earnings by Autumn 2017 to be able to reduce my hours. I hope I can achieve this goal, but whenever in doubt, I'm going to think of you as my hero, the great escapist! Well done!!! Giulia :)
Hi Giulia, Awesome! Great to be of help here. One thing I found is we can never be 100% ready. 80% ready is usually safe, especially you may have windows of opportunity passing by before being 100% ready. Some opportunities may never return.
And as Entrepreneur, taking educated risks is our way of life to success.
Important lesson is to learn from our short falls (if we do encounter this) and bring experience forward for the better. Will keep sharing progress and will be happy to hear of yours too.
Wishing you a great weekend coming and success.
Jack

Potential freaking revenue from referrals yea right dude. I have been here for 6 months and have not had 1 sale. You made some money with Adsense using wa skills? That's not referral income from WA. Why don't you show some proof of your referral sales, because being totally honest is hard right?
You got some proof?????
Ok so you mean you have no proof? Then I don't believe you, I am starting to not believe in wa. Why dont you get in contact with those Nigerian scam artists, you are from the same country right??
