AI Tools You Never Knew You Needed

It’s an exciting time to be an affiliate marketer, isn’t it? The internet is teeming with opportunities, and just when you think you’ve cracked it, along comes something new to keep you on your toes. Enter AI—your shiny, slightly mysterious, new best friend.

But don’t worry; this isn’t going to be a lecture about algorithms or machine learning (who has the time, or, in my case, the knowledge!?). Instead, I’m here to chat about a few clever AI tools that can make your affiliate marketing journey smoother, more creative, and, dare I say, a bit more fun. So, if you’re ready, let’s get going.

1. ChatGPT: Your Pocket Brainstorm Buddy

I can’t exclude ChatGPT because it really is my new best friend who makes my life a bit easier with a bit of ‘wonder’ thrown in.

If you’ve ever felt stuck staring at a blank page, willing the words to flow? AI tools like ChatGPT can help. Need a blog title? Done. A catchy intro? Easy. A dozen ways to describe a new product? You’ve got it. Think of it as that chatty friend who always has ideas—except this one doesn’t mind working at 3 a.m.

Next time you’re writing an email sequence, ask ChatGPT for variations on your subject line. You’ll be surprised how much time it saves.

2. Canva’s AI Magic: Design Made Easy

I know what you’re thinking—“AI for design? How can that work?” As I said earlier, I don’t understand how these things work they just do!

Canva now has an AI-powered assistant that can help you whip up visuals in record time. From infographics to social media posts, it’s all about creating content that catches the eye without eating into your Netflix time. Have a look at Vitaliy’s short videos on how he uses Canva. It’s fascinating.

Use Canva’s AI to quickly resize or re imagine visuals for different platforms. Your Pinterest pins and Instagram posts will thank you.

3. Grammarly: The Grammar Guru You’ll Actually Like

You might already use Grammarly, but its AI is getting smarter every day. Not only does it catch typos, but it can also suggest tone adjustments. Want to sound more professional or friendlier in your emails? Grammarly’s AI has your back.

Run your blog drafts through Grammarly and see how it suggests rephrasing things. It’s like having a writing coach who doesn’t make you feel judged.

I admit that I haven’t used Grammarly but I have a son who swears by it so thought I’d add it here.

4. Jasper: The Content Wizard

When your content calendar is looking a bit sparse, Jasper (formerly Jarvis) can help you fill it up. This AI writing tool specialises in creating content tailored to your needs—be it blog posts, ad copy, or product descriptions. In my humble opinion the AI article designer, here at WA is just as good as well as Chat GPT but it give us another option doesn’t it?

💡 Quick win: Use Jasper to create outlines for long-form content. It’s like having a co-writer who doesn’t demand a share of the profits.

5. Surfer SEO: Optimisation Made Fun (Almost)

SEO isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s a crucial part of affiliate marketing. Surfer SEO uses AI to simplify the process, helping you find keywords, optimise your content, and outrank competitors. Think of it as your digital wingman. Of course, yet again, we already have most of what Surfer has to offer in our own backyard at WA.

💡 SEO shortcut: Use Surfer’s AI to optimise existing blog posts and breathe new life into older content.

6. This Person Does Not Exist: Faces from the AI Ether

Here’s a curveball for you. Ever needed a stock photo of a person, but you’re tired of the same overly polished faces grinning at laptops? Enter This Person Does Not Exist. This AI generates completely fictional human faces—perfect for when you need an image of a “customer” or a “team member” without the awkwardness of using someone real. Refresh the page and another ‘person’ pops up. - magic?

It’s not just handy; it’s also slightly mind-blowing (and maybe a little creepy). These people look real, but they’re as fictional as a dragon riding a unicycle. Who needs Photoshop when you’ve got this level of wizardry?

Create a “testimonials” section using these AI-generated faces and make up delightfully absurd quotes like, “This product changed my life! I can now make the beds, wash up and iron without leaving the sofa!” (Oh if only!)

Just don’t forget to make it clear it’s all in good fun.

Wrapping Up

AI isn’t here to replace you—it’s here to help you shine. Whether it’s brainstorming ideas, fine-tuning your writing, or creating scroll-stopping visuals, these tools are like having a virtual assistant (minus the awkward small talk).

So, why not explore these AI tools and see what works for you? Is there an AI tool you use that we might like to hear about. Let’s swap ideas.

Hope your day is going splendiddly

Jackie

Hi Jackie,
Since I started back here at WA, learning about AI has been the most exciting thing for me. ChatGPT4o is now my new best buddy.

I have also started using Copilot, which you don't mention. It's similar to ChatGPT but you can't - as far as I know - save your chats. You need to do something with them while they are there. When it gets too long, it seems to 'wipe out' the previous 'page' and presents you with a clean sheet. But you seem to be able to go on for as long as you like. It doesn't tell you to wait a few hours before you can do more.

I was thinking of trying Claude next.

But I really ought to look into Canva. I tried Canva several years ago, but found it really difficult to use. I'll give it another go. Exciting times ahead!

Thanks for sharing.
Isabella

Hello Isabella, I missed your reply, sorry. I've not heard of Copilot but have heard of Claude. I think Jay mentions it. You must look into Canva. It's grown so much from when I used it.
The problem with all these new shiny things is getting lost in them and then realised your day has vanished. I'm finding I need a list of jobs that must be done before I do any 'rabbit hole' activities.
Good to see you\
J

Thank you, Jackie. Yes, I am part-way through a YT video guide to Canva. You are right. The day disappears very fast.

Thanks for the tools suggested. They are so helpful, and having a little help along the way is important. Often when working with an AI tool, my creating process just clicks and sends me a new and interesting direction.

I also like to "visit" with ChatGPT and work through issues that are slowing me down.
Have a great day.
Sami

Hi Sami,
I wish ChatGpt had been around when I was at school:)
It's good to help with grandchildren's homework though (shh, they don't know about it yet)

ChatGPT 4o and Grammarly are a must for me!

This person does not exist looks intriguing.

Thanks for sharing, Jackie!

Hey Howard, intriguing and a little scary!

Hi Jackie,

Thanks for this wonderful post! I really like how you explained these AI tools in a simple and fun way. It’s cool to see how tools like ChatGPT, Canva, and Grammarly make affiliate marketing easier and more fun.

Your tips about using Canva for quick visuals and Surfer SEO for content are super helpful. I would recommend SEOWriting AI as well.

The idea of using “This Person Does Not Exist” for funny testimonials is so creative — love it!

AI really does feel like having a helper that’s always ready. Thanks for sharing these ideas — they’ve got me excited to try these tools out. Can’t wait to read more from you.

I hope you’re having a splendid day.

Best, Boris

Hello Boris,
I've just had a look at SEOWriting. It's available in 48 languages!!! It's mind-blowing isn't it?
J

Yes, they also have Humanizer Tool, which is outstanding!

Ooo, and they have a free trial. It looks like it's just for 5 articles but that would give you an idea of how it suits.
Thanks
J

Indeed. Pleasure is all mine 🙏🏻

Great post Jackie. Thanks for giving the different URL's of these product. I will check them out.. Cheers, Enjoy your day.

Enjoy Shaun. But don't get stuck down the rabbit hole :)
J
