First Blog Post at WA

I've done quite a bit of work so far in the 2-3 months here. This blog is part of the last section of Level II training that I am about to finish off. I have pushed ahead well into Level III already. Having been a scuba diving instructor for 26 years, a niche in diving equipment is kind of a natural for me. It appears to be a very competitive space, but based on Kyle's advice I am trying not to worry about that so far and will focuson content. My website is up and ranked by Google. I plan to add content on a regular basis. A lot of it will be reviewing various equipment categories, but I also will be adding other things of general interest. Also my thinking is newer high tech items geared for more advanced divers can potentially place me more at the cutting edge of the niche. I can also link to dive tour and vacation providers. I certainly hope I can start to monetize this in the next 3-4 months. I am just retiring now from teaching in high schools in China due to my age. I will continue to live in Asia (I've been here since 1986) where expenses are cheap, but I do not qualify for a pension or medicare, so I hope this will soon provide a decent chunk of income. I do have a couple of other irons in the fire, but this will be where I put in my major focus on a full time
