My Early Days in Wealthy Affiliate

Hi Everyone, this is Rebecca here!!! I joined Wealthy Affiliate in August of this year and became a Premium member 3 days after in Aug. 22nd. So I am now on my 25th day of becoming a member which is a little over 3 weeks. Within these days, I was sick for a week and confined in a hospital for 4 days. Those days took me away from my training time.

Currently, I am in Course 2 Lesson 10 of the training modules. I enjoyed every bit of the training especially the website building. I should say it was kind of addictive for me, in a way that, once I start working on the lessons, I cannot seem to get myself out of it, and I was not noticing the wee hours of the night. I could not seem to separate myself from my computer, unless/until my eyes are just half open. Creating my website was a test of my patience as I have encountered some obstacles in the process. I could not get my pages to look the way I wanted them to, that eventually I had to seek help from support. I was told there was a problem with my theme and that they had to change my theme. Even after support help, I was still having difficulty fixing my pages. It took me hours, maybe a couple of days, to figure out what I missed. And when I did, PRESTO my pages began to look the way I wanted it to look. So this time, I became the boss and not Wordpress.

Another nerve pinching situation was when one of my images would appear not where I set it to appear. I tried, several times, deleting the image and re-installing, until again, I discovered what I did that I should not have done. So the entire process was a learning curb for me.

At this point, I cannot wait to get to the end of the training modules, because then I would be certain that I have learned everything there is to learn in WA and have applied these steps to my current website. My website now, is like a trial and error site for me. When I complete the training, I expect my site to achieve perfection.

I could not name any success for me yet as there is none. Like I said, I am only building. I may have made a few dollars and cents from ads that I created in facebook before I joined WA but I really do not consider that success. At least not yet.

In 3 months, I am hoping to be able to set my website now into perfection and be on my way to start creating a new one, which, by the way, I am so excited about. In 6 months, I am hoping and expecting to be enjoying the financial rewards of my efforts and just continue building and creating, as time allows.

So guys, I am so happy to be here with all of you. I was with a couple or 3 affiliate programs before but WA is like family.

So last but not the least, more power to all of you, and of course, to me as well.
