Progress Update

I've been busy all week, but making great progress! After getting my first few feedbacks on my website, I went in and changed some things. I have yet to find a theme I am happy with, but I've found one that will work for now. I'm finding a balance between focusing on the details and getting new content up.

One of the things I struggled with was images. Thankfully I did a search here in the community and found some great information - and Canva!!! I love love love Canva. And after digging a bit and learning by trial and error, I was FINALLY able to create a heading image of the correct size for my site. Again, it's not perfect, but it will work for now.

This upcoming week I'm going to reward myself by focusing on what I love - writing content! I put my first "official" content post up on my site and I was so proud to author it! I did a lot of research on the web, took notes, found images, and then put it all together. In my niche there is new content available every single day, and I discovered that I LOVE to write! Plus the existing content areas that I have to write about will keep me busy for a long, long time. I have a lot of improvement to do with my writing, but I know that will come with experience.

In short, I am still so thankful and excited about Wealthy Affiliate. I can't put into words the value of the training here and the way it is set up. Thank you for everyone who has encouraged me and kept in touch with me throughout this process.
