Against All Odds
We all thrive to do something we love in life. Some are fireman, policeman, writers, nurse, doctors, teachers, mechanic, and photographs just to name a few.
Family and friends are supposed to be there to support us in our life right? What if the very thing that is supposed to be there for you were in fact your worst enemy?
Welcome To My World!
Yes that's right my family do not support my decision to become an online affiliate marketer. At every chance they get, they put down their notion that working from home is a myth and it's simply not possible. For them a JOB is to be working for someone earning the same paycheck every week.
Not for me! I keep explaining to them that the internet is the biggest employer that anyone can have. All that is needed is to find the right way to convert those employers into customers. there are 21 billion users online I tell them, don't you think that if I can get only 0.0001% of those 21 billion customers online to come and buy something on my website of an average of 25$ every month, I could make 5000$ every month.
What They Want
They reply by saying: Yah right!!You can't do that come on Eric get a real job. Get off that cloud your on and go put your name at different place in town. So yes I face this reality of having to tell them that I'm dedicated to this and that I will succeed. They also come up with the same dreaded question to prove their point.
How long have been trying to make money online already Eric and how much have you made so far? The answer to their question always fills them with joy. My response is the same: I've been trying to make money for 6 months now (of course that number change following the months) and I made a total of 100$.
My Fiancée is a bit on their side but her love for me makes her believe in me even if she also would rather see me have a job right now rather then later. She doesn't like it when I bring the subject of working from home so I try not to talk about it too often.
I Want To Prove Them Wrong!
My passion for the online world is very strong. I have finally find something I love to do and the fact that I can work and have no boss breathing down my neck is for me so satisfying! I don't mind that they don't agree. Liar! Well all right it hurts me but I'm not going to give up on my dream just yet.
This is my life and I will live it the way I want to live it! Especially that I have found Wealthy Affiliate I am on my way to success and on my way to prove my family wrong! I am certain of this! I believe it with all my heart! But really I do this for me, Not for the sake of proving them wrong but of course i would really love to!

To tell the truth I haven't had any rejection ... only because I haven't told anybody about it yet! I can already hear my family and friends - you don't know what you're doing - just get a job when you graduate .. blah blah blah.... I've heard it before .. I want to tell them when I have proof that I can do it so the second that rejection and negativity comes leaking out I can automatically stop it! We all want to believe the worst because some thinks its better than getting their hopes crushed. Keep working at it and you will succeed! The only failure we can have in life is to not try just one more time!
