Hey folks, I am going to try to update my goals post from about 7 years back that envisioned $240,000 per year. We have seen a lot of inflation since then so my new goal is a $30,000 per month or $360,000 per year lifestyle that is obtainable for those with spirit and dedication.

To reach $360,000 per year you need 21 paid referrals per day to join Wealthy Affiliate for example. 21 x $47 per month base commission = $987 a day revenues. You don't have to be an affiliate for WA and the commissions you aim for can be larger or smaller and maybe even a mix but I gave this as a point of reference.

For me this post is about showing my potential and laying out my ideal lifestyle.

I want a big Working Horse Ranch ($1.2 Million Estimate) like the one in the picture above the post. In it I want a Sports Mancave for my favorite teams the Arizona Diamondbacks of the MLB (Baseball) and the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL (American Football).

AZ Diamondbacks Mancave$40,000 to build and fill the room with desired features.

I also want to be able to travel since we now have kids in Texas and California with Grandkids starting to pop out. SO a good motorhome bus is in order to be able to take in those scenic miles anywhere and everywhere we choose without losing too many comforts of home.

I want a good but modest Fishing Boat around $35,000 in price and a Newer Ford Shelby Mustang 500GT Cobra. That toy will cost me around $65,000.

The grand total of these things is $2,140,000.00 which is mor than doable on 10 years of $360,000 a year income or 3.6 million dollars. I would love to have all of this in place by age 65 so I am giving me 15 years to make it happen.

Will it be easy, HELL NO, but can it happen YES!!! I have seen people live bigger dreams here and I will capture my share.

Your dreams are your dreams and I would love to hear the things you would buy and the goals you have set, the time tables you have given yourself to make things happen. Leave me comments with Gooey Details please.

Wow, amazing goals, Andy! Reading this makes me think I should adjust my goals again. Having a huge horse ranch used to be a dream I had, but now I wouldn't mind just having a couple of horses again someday before I get too old...well, maybe a few horses, lol. Anything more would be too much for one person to take care of daily unless I could hire someone trustworthy enough to be there most days. They're a lot of work, so I'd definitely want to be completely done with my day job first, so my main goal right now is to make enough to replace that income each month.

I'd also love having enough money to fix up our old farm here and have a new house with an art studio, and a new barn for those horses, lol. We do have an old barn, which I'd also love to restore, but it's rather short in height for horses although it's what we used for them back when I was a kid. I'd like one with higher ceilings and more space for them. I guess the old one could be used for other animals which I'm sure we'd end up getting since my hubby wants pigs and maybe a couple of the miniature cows, lol.

Another reason I'd want to earn more is so my kids would have something when my hubby and I are gone...right now I have one living further away at an apartment she rents and my youngest is attending college and lives with us yet since rent is too high. It'd be great to know they'd be set financially once we're gone and possibly take over the little farm here if that's what they want by that time.

Anyways, that's just some of my dreams...I'm sure I could add more though. That RV looks pretty sweet, lol!
Same with the car!

I really like how you have broken down the costs for all of your dreams. It'll be a great way to figure out how much closer you are to your goals that way I'd think.

Thanks for sharing and inspiring!

Best wishes on achieving all of your goals set out here!
~Sherry😀

I can see your vision board shaping up. Great to visualize the reality of our potential.

Amazing idea! I had some things in my mind when I first started, but never put them as a visual like you. All things were just in my fantasy, some even crazy things.
Honestly, I need to rethink and make some kind of visual board, or the way you did it!
The other thing everyone always said - keep your dreams to yourself, if you tell anyone, they will never happen.

Yeah they say a lot of things not true, if you dream out loud others will hold you to the promise of results, making them a free source of accountability partners.

Thanks for sharing your dreams and goals! I appreciate the way you broken it down into sections and appreciate seeing the cost of these things. Kudos to you and hoping you have obtained these or at least some of your dream!
However, seeing scenarios like this with all this stuff and knowing myself...I DON'T want all this stuff. I prefer cash flow to just live comfortable and be a giver to people around me that are in need. I cannot take it with me so I do not want it. I wonder...does this affect my ability to build my dream!

Not at all, cash flow is a good goal, for me I have 7 children and 3 grand kids to think about keeping the worldly stuff and I want to make sure my wife is well taken care of if I pass before she does. Everyone has their own goals and dreams.

Wow, Andy, what a vision! You had me at “horse ranch” and “mancave,” but then the Prevost RV and Mustang 500 GT sealed the deal. 😄

I love how you’ve broken the dream down into real numbers and actual, tangible milestones. It’s so easy to get swept up in “big goals” talk, but seeing the math and timelines makes it feel truly attainable—even if it’s a serious stretch goal!

Your transparency about what this lifestyle actually costs is super refreshing (and a good gut-check for all of us aiming high). I also appreciate the reminder that big dreams don’t just magically happen—they take time, grit, and plenty of re-calibrating along the way.

For me, the dream would be a small, eco-friendly home base tucked in the forests of Quebec with a sunlit creative studio and enough coffee gear to open my own mini café. Add in some bucket-list hiking trips, a few family reunions in Italy, and I’m set! 😄

Thanks for inviting us to share, and for showing that “impossible” goals are really just “not yet.” Rooting for you every step of the way—can’t wait to hear about the first time you take that Mustang for a spin!

I like to accelerate the process with a 60/40 rule. I will advertise with 60% of the money I make. I will pay me 40% of my earnings. I will assume no earnings from the advertising. I know it takes time to learn what works so those dollars are dead to me until I hear a heartbeat.

Dear Andy,
my goal is really simple: having multiple sources of income to sustain my artistic career, and travel around the world.

The main super goal is giving back to the community by creating schools, places where the young generations could express themselves and find a purpose for their lives.

3

I like that. For me I want to build homes the working homeless can afford. Have a whole plan to make it sustainable. Just need the money.

4

What a wonderful goal! I am seeing many families in difficulty, and many more will become poor in the next years! So there is really a lot of work to do!

3 years ago, we were priced out of the housing market with $15,000 in the bank, but too much demand drove monthly rents out of range. For 10 months, we lived in tents in the desert heat, fighting our way back to wholeness despite 2 working adults, one of whom has nearly 20 years at her job. Our kids suffered from a fixable crisis; there is no reason a person should not be able to afford the American Dream if they are working hard toward the goal.

4

I am so sorry Andy for this awful experience that costs so many sufferings to your family.

This experience will surely help you to support many other people in the same difficulty!

3

Life teaches lessons, builds strength, and molds greatness. You just need to see opportunity in your bad times in this case it gave me a unselfish purpose, a mission I can do that runs parallel to my dreams.
