Sometimes baby steps are the best steps to take. For example, when I need to clear out clutter and I don't know where to begin I set a timer for 10 minutes and just focus on the things I can throw in the trash. If I feel motivated after that, I'll extend my time to no more than an hour because I know I'll get burned out if I go beyond that. But the focus in this instance is just on the trash.
