Hey WA Fam,

Hope your all bearing up well and managing to keep in high spirits during this covid19 pandemic.

Most of you maybe able to resonate to this: during these unprecedented times, I am sure we've all experienced some kind of negative emotions because of the uncertanties looping over us, not knowing what, why when and not having the answers to our questions can leaving one feeling anxious about thier future. Myself, I was experiencing some these emotions, however I got over them very quickly, and reminded myself about living in the now.

So, I weighted up the pros and cons of being in isolation, and fortunatley, for me there were more pluses opposes to minuses. I am a introvert personality, I like to stay indoors. Hence, that was a big plus for me. I got me head down, and starrted to make a list, yes, a LIST, I swear by making a list, of all the things I wanted to do. I believe once things are written, they actually get done. So, I made a list for three areas of my life: Family, Career, Education. Things that I have been wanting to do, but with the rat race, and the 9-5 routine, time was never enough. Therefore, this seems like a perfect opportunity to enjoy the covacation and gain perspective about where my life is going.

Today, I just want to share my thoughts on managing emotions and why it is important to declutter these racing thoughts from the feelings. Currently I am reading the power of negative emotions by Todd Kashdan & Robert-Biswas-Diener. I cannot really comment on the content as I've only just started reading this, but from what I have read so far, it is a good read and definitely helpful to those people who think negative emotion is a bad thing. This book changes that perspective and helps us realise the 'Power of Negative Emotion' which is not so bad thing, once you know the triggers of negative emotion you can identify the problem and deal with it. As the blurb states:

Anger fuel creativity

Guilt sparks improvement

Self-doubt enhances performance

Selfishness increases courage

Having emotional agility allows one to navigate from negative to positive emotions in a more controlled manner. Earlier, on today, I was feeling quiet depressed and annoyed at my stagnant progress here at WA. This feeling does not reflect WA system in any way, infact quiet the oppositve, as when I am away from the WA community, I feel less motivated and disoriented about my dream about having an online business. Although, I recognised this feeling was coming from a place of wanting online success badly, and the frustration of not putting enough time, or not having the clarity or purpose (this seems to be the case with most online entrepreneurs like me, who are just starting out). Nonetheless, when I am here at WA i bounce back quickly, and ready to give it my all. As I know I have access to whole community who are willing to support me. I also understand that if I don't do anything about pursing my dream, then I only have myself to blame. Anyway, now that time is abudance, I can and will input more time into my pursuit and gain clarification on areas that I feel unsure about.

When I am atteding the WA training and reading other peoples blogs and comments, I feel I just want to give this opportunity my best. As one thing that I have immensely benefitted from this place is gaining the confidence to be able to write freely and share my thoughts and achievements with other amazing people here in the community, who are always very supportive.

Another plus, is having the confident to be able to write my content for my website, which has given me an outlet to share my findings, ideas, principles and practices with the world, not soley to benefit others but to benefit myself, as I write i instill that virtue in me further, which helps me become more mindful in my life and practice.

I believe that being part of community like WA is phenemenol and anyone can fulfil thier dream of having an online business whether it is to make money or just simply want to share knowledge about things that are of interest with people all over the world.

The world is your Oyster!

But what I am reminding myself today is the importance of gaining clarity, focus and managing emotions, which are the key ingredients to help one keep striving foward and not give up in despair.

Hopefully, this pursuit becomes rewarding finacilaly as it is emotionally satisfying. Being able to do what I am passionate about and make a successful living from it, seems like a life full of virtue and happiness. So, here it is people, don't just run with your feelings, understand your emotions and fine tune yourself and ask yourself 'Why are you feeling this way?' will help you gain perspective on your thoughts and emotions.

Peace and Blessings
