Never Buy on an Affiliate Launch
I just had an affinity. You know there is a reason why affiliate marketers use count down tactics and OTO's (one time offers) because there is a whole psychology to buying and it is the one thing in this business that bothers me. In fact I will say the only one bad thing about WA is that damn Premium countdown. Don't get me wrong, I just found this place and I think it is amazing and will become a huge part of it's community but people have to move at their own pace and pushing them to premium is a turn off. Just offer the damn $19 first month whenever they are ready and be done with it.
Enough of that, as I said I love WA and will be a premium member and will learn and contribute. So back to the affiliate launch stuff. I realized that I am an addict. I don't take that word lightly because I actually am a recovering alcoholic but I am also an easy target for new shiny stuff. I am sucker for OTO's and I am the exact reason why this industry operates like it does, because it works like a charm for people like me.
However, like my drinking, I have recognized this and I am getting better. I have at least arrived at the point where I don't buy OTO's anymore until I learn more about the product haha. Come on laugh with me I know you can relate to that. Anyway, I just learned another trick and it really is quite amazing and simple as it were.
Whenever I see a new product or course that seems interesting I watch the pitch video and instead of jumping right in (unless there is a free checkout period) I go and look for review videos. inevitably they give me 100% more information on the product the sales page and usually it is a look inside the system. Since I have been doing this I have been amazed at the difference between what the pitch says and what is actually on the inside of the purchase. Not to mention if you purchase through these reviewers you are always getting a ton of bonuses that were yesterdays hot products.
Lastly if you can't find a decent review (impossible as it is such a big strategy in this industry) go ahead and purchase, don't buy any OTO's and check it out. However do it in the refund period, make an educated decision if this is something you will use in your business and if not don't be afraid to get the refund, it is your prerogative.
This has worked like a charm for me and in the last week alone has allowed me to not purchase at least 3 systems I was considering. Remember the biggest hindrance to success for a newbie is not that there is not enough choices but that there are too many. Sit back, be patient and make the right choices, educated ones, for you and your business.

Congrats on giving up the drink. Take your time with WA, when you are ready, sign up as a premium member. It's, as you say, the real deal and you will learn a lot. All the very best of luck.

congratulations on the recovery process, wish you well there. I agree with your article, the pitch videos used to draw me right in and it the buy button without even thinking. Luckily my wife is on hand and I ran another affiliate training video pitch and she raised questions which I did not ask, and then research of reviews found that it was no a very good programme
Yes I have learned to be more skeptical and also to make sure if I do buy the product to investigate it thoroughly before the refund date.
