Plagiarism
The copying of someone else’s written work or
they yours. Well it’s just plain stealing.
It really sucks when you spend hours or even
days researching, studying, gathering all your
thoughts together; writing it, finalizing an
article pouring yourself into it.
Then you lovingly let your creation out into
world. You are proud of what you did. You want
everybody to see what you wrote.
Then a month goes by and your doing some more
research when you start reading an article on
another site when, wait a minute. Those are your
words staring back at you. That’s your baby
sitting there. Someone has taken your article
and put their name to it.
And there is no real way to prove it is yours.
Or is there?
You were smart. You have the tools and proof
you wrote it. You had your article checked and
you can show you are the original owner.
You do have that don’t you? If not may I suggest
you go to COPYSCAPE.COM and use their service.
They have a free service you can use then they
have Copyscape Premium which only cost you five
(5) cents per search.
I am NOT an affiliate of theirs because they
don’t have one but I do HIGHLY recommend you
use the service. You can use the service to make
sure your not guilty of plagiarism as well.
Better safe, Right?

You don't have to worry about plagiarism Ira. If you publish the original work before the copier, you will get the rankings, they will get penalized.
I'm not. If someone took a fancy to some dribble I wrote I would be flattered. But it made for a good article I thought. If Carson or Kyle wishes to deleat it, no problem. Copyscape is good for making sure you don't have duplicate articles though.
