Hello dear WA friends!

Having discussions with people about the content; the most common question I received is about writing quality content.

It is clear why! We re witnessing the "content marketing era" online where and when millions of people around the globe try to impress the audience and Google with compelling and great content.

All to be noticed, to stand out and attract the audience on their websites. As it is clear that the competition is massive, it is also clear that it is not easy to stand out with valuable content that should drive visitors and hopefully turn them into customers.

All this motivated me to write a todays˙s blog about how to write quality content.

Today I will discuss a few elements of quality content and hope to help a bit in understanding how to write such content. It is my modest contribution to this broad topic. However, it can be used as a checklist or as a simple reminder whenever thinking about writing high-quality content.

Why Should You Write High-Quality Content?

It is a question that opens many discussion because of the straightforward reason: we are with flooded with tons and tons of various material on internet and offline, available per mouse click and in many bookshops, seminars, institutions, universities, and so forth.

The content is available in many different formats and for free or as a paid one. The thing is that in this "sea of content" not everyone is of high-quality. There is a valuable one but also of inferior quality.

Google And The High-Quality Content!

Speaking about the content available online, we can't avoid Google as the biggest informational platform today and all kind of content we have access to. Google needs content, of all kind. It is how Google attracts people. We know that! May successful companies are retrieving traffic from Google, in an organic or paid way.

Social Media Platforms And High-Quality Content!

In fact, according to my researches, the platforms that are the most interesting for the audience and where most searches take place are Google, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram. Please, correct me if I am wrong.

Instagram is used differently, depending on the country. Same with locations and markets. Named platforms are attracting daily millions of users with billions of searches. Moreover, you need to stand out with your content! Can you manage it? Is it possible!

According to other researches, it is, and even more and more. It is because of the reason that more and more population are using the internet as their primary activity platform for many different activities.

High Competition!

The competition in searching is enormous — Google I dominating the market, as the SE. However, social media and store platforms are taking the role of SE more and more.

So, it happens very often that people while searching on Facebook afterward land on various other platforms and websites that promote their products and services through the published different content.

Said so, such platforms became an informational source and connection between content creators and the audience.

However, it is easy to attract visitors, regardless of the platform? What is the technique or the strategy you need to use to achieve that? Do you need money to invest? You can start asking, and there is not an end in sight o asking questions!

Luckily, there is one strategy that works for everyone. It is about creating quality content. Moreover, it is just because of one simple reason: every platform needs great content to attract visitors.

Here Is Your Chance!

Google is teaching us that the original, relevant, information-rich content is a way to stand out from the crowd. It is also what WA is teaching us. That is all fine, but to create high-quality content is not always easy.

Every webmaster, content creator, developer, writer, product or service creator, online and affiliate marketer and many others know it. Still, they keep creating and posting valuable content because it works.

It works for the good ones, determined, focused and persistent content creators that learned how to do it. They follow the guidelines, work steadily on improvements on their creational skills, marketing knowledge and mindset.

The guidelines for creating high-quality content are straightforward. They are known to many writers, creators, publishers, marketers. I will repeat them here, as a quick reminder. However, as in other spheres of life, the originality, skills, knowledge, sharing value always find their way to success.

So with the proper content as well.

Be Original! Share Information-Rich Content!

Can you be original? Are you able to create unique content? Is it related to your niche, to your topic? How about the context? Are you using too many keywords in it breaking Google`s "holly rule" of key stuffing?

Are you creating your content just because of the "rules of the game" for its own sake, or do you want to add some value?

Is your content updated? Useful? Rich of related and helpful information?

Answer these questions! You will have the "golden formula" of creating high-quality content. Treat your content best you can, moreover, as your way of building your business, and your authority. Make your self useful in the eyes of Google. Furthermore, other search engines as well. The audience will know how to award it.

Make Your Content “Magical!”

Make your quality content to your "magic wand" of success! Do it regularly! It is not easy, I know, It is not for me as well. Having a hand by your side while doing it will help you a lot. We have it here at WA!

As soon as you get the habit of creating quality content the things will start to roll on. However, the premise is always quality, You need a quantity as well, this is clear, but don't put the amount in front the quality.

When searching and reading online, I always come o the content that awakes the "wow" for its quality and the content that I pass. It is the difference between quality and quantity. When writing or creating other content, you are doing it for the people on the other side. Keep that in mind. Don't write for the SE; write for the people, your reader.

All This Is Important For Writing High-Quality Content.

So, in conclusion, I want to share with you a small checklist you can use whenever you stuck and don't know how to write high-quality content. Alternatively, maybe create a valuable graphic, video, podcast, webinar, whatever.

If your only thinking is to create valuable, high-quality content, how can you fail? It will always be people that love it. Maybe they will also come back to you and ask you to read more of your valuable content or even to create some for them as well.

Regardless, in a short-term, long-term, the valuable content always finds its way. If you want, over deliver, but be sure to create information-rich content.

Remember, even if you creating affiliate sites or content about the affiliate program you can add value. Every review you write, don't copy it. Make it your original valuable review in your words. Please get to know the product, use it and share your experience. Compare your product or service to other programs. Make it clear about the benefits of your product or service.

Make it easy for your readers to navigate to your product or service. If you rate the product or service, be honest and deliver the best possible information about it to your readers and potential customers. They will know how to measure your efforts as well.

Several good posts recently on content. I will bookmark this post and put this in my folder for content and writing.

Hi William!

Thanks a lot for your reply! I am very glad to hear that! Happy to write content people like! It motivates me to go on! That was my goal! "Mission accomplished!"

Thanks again,
Best regards,
Igor

This was great info. Can I ask a question of you? Do u pick your keywords before you write your article?

Hi Wanda!

Well, it actually doesn't matter how you proceed. You need to adjust content and keywords anyway.

My procedure is as follows:

1) Brainstorming about the content
2) Creating a title for it
3) Searching on Jaaxy for keywords and suggestions
4) Checking on Google (search bar) for availability and more suggestions
5) Picking up and defining the main (focus) keyowrd
6) Finishing relevant content

In a nutshell, yes, I define the keyword before I start writing but before finding a keyword I write down the topic.

Hope it helps!

Igor

Thank you so much Igor. I appreciate your input. It will really help. Thanks again!
Wanda

Ok, glad to hear that! Thanks!

Best regards,
Igor

Great content Igor, thanks for reminding us about the value of good content as a traffic driver and purchase facilitator for our online businesses.

Hi William!

Quality content is a standard which Google is increasing daily. Hence, be able to share information-rich and useful content is the "way to OM heaven!". Following this path, it can glorify the author!

Thanks for the kind comment,
Best regards,
Igor

Thanks for this great informations.
I prefer to write content with a lot of
good informations but not too long.
Most people today don't like reading
anymore.

Have a great day!
Ingrid

That is right Ingrid!

Video marketing is probably going to prevail in writing, but not SEs. So, written material is important. Google is recommending up to 1500 words per post. There are still going to be readers out there.

I know people in my town who have read around 6000 books. Yes, You've heard properly! Seven thousand. All offline. Amazing! One thousand would make 3 books each day within one while year! How did they manage it?

Anyway, video is coming strong but "the written word" is fighting against!

Thanks for the comment,
Best regards,
Igor

P.S.
It is so great to exchange thoughts! Don't you think so?

I hope you are right because I love writing and
reading.

That is nice!
Keep it up! Enjoy writing and reading!

Best regards,
Igor

Nice post. Just a questtion about size of a content I mean how short or long? Reader loves see short with valuable and effective words only. Am I correct? Just an opinion thats all. For example, 85% of readers love to check their daily info using MOBILE. At that amount of time it's not really possible. We should be carefully check that as well.

Yes, a very good question which can be answered from different angles. If you consider posting on Google than you should write articles of 1000-1500 words. If you consider the grammatical or proofreading issues that shorter is always better than longer.
Related to mobile search, any content that is easy to read and view is advantageous. Note that any content shown on mobile is ranked on Google (if we speak about Google now) according to their algorithms. Hence, creating material for desktop and the users is important as well. The fact people are surfing more and more on mobile doesn´t mean that mobile search is more important, at least for now.

Hope it helps!

Hi Igor, thank you for the post. One thing that especially caught my eye a title by you: "Why Should You Write High-Quality Content".
The answer is so obvious. Great post.
Michael

Thanks, Michael!

It was my goal to share some valuable tips. I am glad I could deliver some of them.
Your comment tells me that "catchy" sub headline can be (if not equally, but at least almost equally) important as the main headline!

Thanks for your valuable feedback!

Best regards!
Igor

Hi Igor, it is you I thank.
Michael

Hej Jules! What's up?
Didn't receive your feedback about your tennis practice?
However, practicing is important even in writing. I can guarantee you it is so.

Wish you happy writing!
Best regards,
Igor

Hi Igor, how are you?
I actually did send you a message about our tennis lesson.

Oh, really?
Sorry, I need to check it out. Didn't receive any notification, Strange!
However, I will check it and refer back!

Best regards!

Thanks Igor that was an informative post. The only thing I would add, is that you cannot please everybody all of the time, as somebody will always object. That's life.

That is right! The scope of the article is to deliver an easy and handy reminder for the people that struggle with content creation. If using just a couple of tips will do the work.

The main thing is to create original, relevant and informative content. Somebody will make it and somebody not. I agree with you, it is, as it is.

Best regards,
Igor

I love this post-Igor. These are invaluable easy to follow tips!

Thanks, Michael!

It seems I reached the goal with the article!

Best regards,
Igor
