Losing focus, or different focus?
Just sharing a small achievement on my YouTube channel.
Hit 1 million views and 5000 subscribers at the start of this year. Created my channel on 21 March 2020, so in about 2 months time it will be 2 years old.
I've been quite engrossed in my YouTube channel that I've actually neglected my website, and the reason is because I've started to earn a bit from my channel since August last year, as compared to working on my site since April 2018. I never earned a single cent (or at least enough to be able to withdraw the minimum amount) from Amazon Affiliate, and only had one payout with another affiliate which was just about $190 after all this time.
For my channel however, since October, I've gotten about $120 a month for the past 3 month, so it has given me a more consistent returns for my effort. But like I said earlier, its at the cost of my website as I've not created content for my site since mid last year.
I've actually considered giving up my Wealthy Affiliate account in December 2020, but I'm still here now. Part of me wants to continue my site but not getting the monetary returns is really putting me off. I'm not expecting to earns thousands or anything, just earning enough to cover the monthly membership cost would be good enough for now.
Anyone else in a similar situation?
I'm gonna try at least one post a week for my site for this year.
Anyways, take a look at my channel (link at my profile, or if it doesn't show you can search 'stillfigurineout' on YouTube). Looking at the quality of my video, even I myself wonder how I managed to get this far lol. I mean, it's not bad, but it's not great either. I'm just trying to improve one video at a time.
Hope everyone is doing fine and healthy in this new year. =)
