Don't take things for granted.

This blog won't be about WA.

It's just a reminder to everyone, myself included.

Sometimes we get caught up with our lives that we spend less time on the most important thing; our loved ones, be it our family members, cousins or close friends.

I know everyone has their own situation. You may or may not be having a hard time in your life right now, but no matter what your situation is, don't forget, neglect, or procrastinate in connecting with those whom you hold dearly.

Feel like you miss them? Everyone is just a handphone away. Call them, drop a message, plan a short catch up session. Don't wait.

My wife's younger brother passed away last Sunday. He got into a motorcycle accident. He's 23 years old, and just like most around that age, enjoying life with friends, just started his career, planning and saving for marriage with his girlfriend.

After the accident, my wife was saying that she has been missing him for the past two weeks, but never got around to meeting him. She's really affected as the two of them were close.

I saw my father-in-law bury his son. I saw my two brothers-in-law bury their brother. My mother-in-law's eyes were swollen from too much crying. It's definitely not something I ever want to see again. But I know that's just how life is at times.

So, cherish your loved ones. Don't take things for granted. Don't take them for granted. Meet up with them, stay in contact, ask them how they are doing, tell them how you feel.

Everyday is a precious day with your loved ones.

So true Idris. It is not good to get caught up in what you want to do and in the process forget family and friends.
Grateful for your reminder.

Great reminder. So sorry for all of the loss that has affected your family.

That is how life is sometimes but it definitely doesn't make it any easier to deal with during those times.

Thank you for your caring words to remind us all.

Peace and Blessings
Horace

Thank you for sharing with us that precious reminder, we all need it.

Please accept our heartfelt prayers and condolences for the trgedy which has stricken your entire family.

In the face of tragedy, there is't much we can do other than to offer our prayers, respect and condolences.

Unfortunately, for the most part, no one can prevent tragic events,

What is, however, within our grasp and ability as members of the "knowledge industry" is to be like missionaries in our work of informing, educating, empowering and liberating others who are caught in the machinery society has built to shape us from cradle to grave.

Only then, when we achieve even the rescuing of one person form it, we can rest in peace, should tragedy strike us, we can leave a legacy of our good works, that of doing WELL by doing GOOD.

Blessings!
