By asking this question I have found it very helpful and will look into all that has been suggested. Being new to designing a website is not as easy as you think it would be as there as so many ways to do it. It is very handy to have a community to bounce this sort of thing off. Extremely Helpful. Thanks to all.

Good advice from Ithamar. Nowadays, "Build it and they will come." doesn't work. The question of what to add needs to be answered by your in-dept knowledge of your client. Without these insights your site is going nowhere - my opinion. The rest is only cosmetics. You'll know you're on the right track when you start receiving engaging Comments.

Now that is great advice! The quality of the comments you receive on your blog is one of the best ways to tell if you are on the right track. Thank you famous!

I would also recommend that you get into video marketing, which has proven to be a very successful marketing method for others in this niche. Go to YouTube and type in KingHuman in the search bar. He is a great example to follow and study because he uses one of the greatest of the video marketing methods - polarization.

People will either love him or hate him, but those that love him, love him for life and will do anything he suggests, which includes buying from his affiliate links.

There is a term called "above the fold" which originally referred to the print that you saw on a newspaper when it was folded. However in web design, it refers to the parts of a site you see without scrolling. Only 25% of visitors scroll when they first visit a website so that's why it's important to design your site on this principle.

Your email capture box should always be above the fold, as well as your latest post and at least one affiliate ad, which you already have, great job on that. As has been previously suggested, you should move it to the top of your primary sidebar to keep it above the fold.

Think about your brand...what should people think about when they think of Affiliate Schemes? Do you want people to see your site as the ultimate resource for affiliate marketing ideas? The best way to convey this is to position yourself as a real person who is an affiliate marketer and has tried and tested these "schemes" and is offering objective tips, suggestions, and reviews to help other aspiring marketers.

The only way you are going to do this successfully is to be a little more personal on your site. You need to not only add an About Me page to allow readers to see who you are, but I would also add a Contact Me page so that they can reach out to you as well.

People will never buy what you are selling, but they will follow the advice of a friend they know and trust who recommends tools to help them solve their problems. That's the goal of your site - to reach out to people who are trying to build an affiliate business and help them achieve that goal.

Thanks for the advice very helpful

Put your email subscription box higher up on the page. Add an About Me page.
I think the deep blue background is a bit overpowering.
