Screenshot tools
Hi WAers, I hope you are all well, as I am. What tools do you use to capture images and other insteresting things for future reference. There are three (3) which ive been using so far, namely:
1. snipping tool,
2. snip and sketch new feature, and
3. lightshot (screenshot tool)
The first two are microsoft apps, whilst the last one is a browser extension. All three have similar features and live up to expectation. I hope you find them useful.
Let's know if there are other tools that you use for snips.
Enjoy your day.
Irene

Hello,
Thank you for sharing.
I do not use any tools at the moment. Since I am a Windows user, my husband showed me how to do a screenshot by pressing Shift+Windows sign+S all together, select the area we want, then I paste it onto Paint and save it.

To be honest Irene the snipping tool is great, I use it all the time and I build websites for a living. I use other programs too, but then you start getting into big money, stay with the freebies and then when you are making income look at other stuff.
If you are looking for a free graphics program like photoshop, there is a free one called Gimp... I know weird name, but it is as good as photoshop and Free https://www.gimp.org/
I agree with you Joe, most free tools do the job well. also thanks for the tips.
No problem. happy to help
