Daring To Dream

I wanted to share a short message with you today about goal setting. I'm new to WA and one of the reasons I joined is because of the goals I have set for myself. I'm no expert in this area but I'm learning and I've discovered that there are some really good goal setting methods. The one I found that works the best for me is one that Brian Tracy talks about a lot. Here are the method:

Using a spiral notebook or something similar, write down 10 goals you would like to accomplish in the next 12 months. Write each goal in the first person, as though you have already accomplished it. Than, look at these goals and ask yourself this question; "If I could achieve just one of these goals in the next 24 hours which one would have the most positive influence on my life?" Whatever your answer is, that's the goal you should focus on for the year. If you focus on that goal you will find the others will be achieved also.

I have personally been practicing this method and it has really helped me to become more focused and clear about what I want to accomplish.

You are much more likely to accomplish a goal that is written down than one that is not. Actually, any goal that is not written down is really only a wish and it's highly unlikely that it will ever come to pass. However, only about 2 percent of the population actually writes down their goals. See, the problem is not that we can't accomplish our goals, but we just don't dare to dream.

Dream big, write your goals and change your life!

Blessings,

Hans

This sounds like a good way to go and is heavily promoted here at WA.
