The Journey of 1000 Steps
It has alway been my life goal to travel to Nepal and to see Everest with my own eyes. To hike to Base Camp and immerse myself in the buzz and the energy of those who have been to the summit and those that are ready to face the huge challenge of the climb. I am yet to achieve that goal and many others on my bucket list but I know I am on the right path. Every new step I take towards building my new website, every article I write is bringing me closer. Why? Because it is not just a vehicle to make money but a journey that is building communication skills and confidence and courage. I have learnt many new skill and overcome many self imposed limitations in my short time here at Wealthy Affiliate and I wish to thank each and every one of you for being a part of this journey.
I started out the gate like a Thoroughbred but after my initial couple of weeks I let life get in the way of what I wanted to achieve. The doubts started to creep in and I questioned if it was really what I wanted to do. To be honest, I could think of a illion things I would prefer to do than to sit at a computer in the evenings after doing it all day at work but I have worked through those voices and am kicking goals even if it is slowly.
My niche is acctually not something I know a lot about but it is something that has recently given me a new lease on life, Yoga. By building my site I get to learn about something I enjoy and hopefully lead others to find value in yoga as well.
I am enjoying the proccess and plan to build not just my Yoga Site but also my home farm website where I will teach about small farm sustainablility and supplying your local community with fresh food from less than an acre.
So my journey of 1000 steps in underway and I am grateful for every single one.
