Hello, I am Howard. I am a reformed lawyer and a compulsive serial entrepreneur.

I have a current passion for housing and the need to become more realistic about what it is, how to think about it from a needs and economic point of view, and that it is important to rethink the information that we have been fed in order to find the best solutions.

I have been blessed with a wonderful, loving wife, and the beautiful family that we share.

My secondary goals are:
Generate no less than $100k in consulting revenues per quarter, and
Establish my community management company as the leading management company in the world, and
Generate $25k/month in fee revenue for providing an objective rent v. purchase analytical tool for people making housing choices, and
Establish my reputation as a subject matter expert for decision makers, public and private, that effect housing policy, and
Provide training for the professionals that are expected to manage housing in behalf of the consumers.

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Thank you Kyle. I do have a great deal of experience and have many ideas that will fit under the large niche of housing. I have my own domain already and have made the initial efforts of building my website, which I have name A Primer on Housing. I am uncertain about how to get the ball rolling. I am impressed with what Wealthy Affiliate has to offer.

You can definitely be within the housing space online, but I would narrow down the initial direction with your website.

When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:

I want to help people that ______________.

Fill in the blank and you are going to be much closer to a specific audience. After you do this and if you want to run any further ideas by me, let me know and I will give you a hand. :)

Thank you for the observation, Kyle. I believe that it will be helpful to have your feedback regarding the 4 distinct areas that I believe will be profitable for me. This is not in any particular order, other than logic:

1. I served for a number of years on the Board of the National Multi Housing Council, the organization that supports most of the companies that own and/or operate apartment communities throughout the world. I was an owner/operator up until recently. I have demonstrated that our unique approach to the operating side of the business gets significantly better outcomes, as measured by any of the metrics accepted by the platform. My audience is two-fold, the investors that own nearly 60% of that type of housing, and the operators that are managing these properties. I can generate substantial revenue by becoming a third-party manager to enhance performance.

2. My approach, as I indicated previously, is revolutionary and there is an excellent opportunity to get consulting revenues by stirring the pot and redefining the duties.

3. I have developed an analytical model that demonstrates that the economics of renting, rather than owning, is by far a better choice for most people. I believe that the model can be monetized.

4. The combination of my operating experience and my unique approach to this matter allows me to profit by becoming a high profile subject matter expert. This result will stimulate the revenue capability for the first three areas of focus, and may open up other possibilities.

As a quick aside, in 2006 I gave a speech and stated that even though the ratio of owned housing was nearly 70% of all housing, that ratio would be less than 50% by 2020. It is now appearing that my projection will be accurate. I can articulate the many reasons why I believe that to be true.

My reason for joining WA was to enable me to have the support that I need to determine how to roll all of this out in the most productive manner. I am eager for your assistance.

I would definitely recommend if this is your passion you head in this direction. There are an incredible amount of things you can talk about, that you can get ranked for, and through time, you can build yourself up as an online authority in this space (it sounds like you are already an offline one, so the transition is only natural).

Absolutely head in this direction with your website/foundation Howard.
