Good Friday Blessings!
But God demonstrates his love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us - Romans 5:8
Today is a day to remember that we are all sinners in God's eyes. No matter how good we think we are, we can never meet God's standard!
God knows that, so he sent Jesus to be our substitute for the punishment we deserve! That day, Jesus took on the sins of the world: past, present, and future.
In 1981, I accepted God's offer to receive Jesus, God's only son, as my savior. I have a good friend and college buddy who shared Christ with me. I took him up on the offer. I bowed my head while he led me in prayer to receive Jesus as my savior:
"Lord, I know that I am a sinner, and I need Jesus. I know Jesus is the son of God and that he died on the cross for me to save me from sin and death and restore me to God the Father. I accept him today as my Lord and Savior. I want to live for you!"
I wish you a blessed day covered in God's love. Remember the price Jesus paid for you.
Please accept if you have not done so. The time is drawing near that God will call His children home. Don't be Left Behind!
