When looking at websites of some WA members, I noticed that the content in their blogs is repeated on the web pages, does this not constitute duplicate content? Maybe I'm missing
Not if it is set up as a category page blogroll, with a category menu label, in which case the post would appear in the main blogroll, but then be sorted according to category on a page created for that specific topic. Creating A Category Page I'd have to look and see what you mean exactly. ~Jude
It's their own content on their own site, I do it myself, I use the categories to keep all my posts all nicely organised into relevant groups, but some posts I put into pages if they are relevant.
