Set an intention every morning rather than setting a goal. welcome back
Welcome back
It's good it really feels good to be back, been on a vacation in het Netherlands in Lunsenbergen Borgen. Would recommended it anyone who needs time on his own and loves to be in nature!
I needed a break, a sit down to have a conversation with myself to clear my head and work on my health and issues.
And what best therapy is there then mother nature and some quite time alone with your dog?
After my separation I had a really hard and stressful time, could bearly relax and it reflected on my health and on Thai. I know for some this sounds so strange - some say it is just a dog - but to me he is more then just a dog, any dog is for me not just a dog however he is truly very special he's a very powerful and sensitive yet also a very intuitive dog.... And noticed he was upset too a lot of changed for him as well and Akita's are more then other dogs very loyale, they are known for it!
I love my family my Mom, my three sisters and two brothers, love my nieces and nephews however living with them, that's a whole other ballgame
Been way to independent for way to long to just go and live up, close and personal with them.
i'm very grateful they where there when I needed them the most and they did all they could to support me of that I'm sure but still it simply wasn't working and got even more stressed out....
So decided to go on vacation just with Thai and me and first planned it for two weeks but time went so fast that I just wasn't ready to go home and decided to stay longer so added ten days....
I'm so grateful Geert my ex supported me as well
Thai and me went for long walks in the woods found the most beautiful places and met some beautiful people
I just knew I had to reflect on my past in general and give it a closer and find myself again. You just simply can't force growth nor closer, sometimes you just need time on your own and so I did!
Have so many ideas now, and feel more relaxe then I ever did.... so it was actually the best the only thing I could do....
Idea of the Day: Set an intention every morning rather than setting a goal.

I'm glad you had that time to think and get back to yourself, Hope.
I think we all can use some time like that.
A pretty interesting point you made: setting an intention rather than setting a goal. This could be very powerful.
Thanks for sharing.
I wish you all the best!
perfect especially when the tasks are endless...an setting intention allows more open endedness in working toward something. I'm going to intend to take things one step at a time, however, long each step takes....without the goal pressure
Hello Gordon
That is indeed very smart, and that is why I love the idea.
I too took small steps and still didn't end my course, because I went through it a couple of times.
Every door you open, opens other doors, so it is very intens, Details are more important then goals. yet any learning skill takes time and perseverance.
I wish you all the best, and don't forget to ask questions in this amazing community.
To our succes
Have an awesome Thursday
Hope

I am all for setting intentions, ever since I read the book by Wayne Dyer named" The Power of Intention".
