Ok, so you can’t transfer domains for 60 days from another transfer or registration. You can have the current registrar change the nameservers to wa’s name servers and then add those domains under Other Domains in Websites > Site Manager. Then you can use the domain here and transfer it later.
I wrote that I already tried that days before I gave up waiting and made the transfer - which failed - instead. This screenshot is what came up when the namecheap helper ran mydomain and showed me a screencast of it. All 4 nameservers were pointed at WA hosting already.
23:44 Anastasia Gaidai: Per my check, the domain is pointed to:
ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com
ns3.mywahosting.com
ns4.mywahosting.com
And here is what I can see when I enter the domain in my browser address bar https://www.screencast.com/t/kznN7mBjhJ
Hi Rebecca,
Most of hosting companies are using this rule ... You'll have to wait 60 days to be able to move your domain ...
I'm cool with that had I known when I put this through I would have stopped but neither WA nor namecheap flagged me with a notice about that.
WA doesn't have any information regarding your existing domains ... And I'm pretty sure that you can find that info on the Namecheap TOS page ... But usually we tend to disregard those "footnotes" before we take a jump :)
haha! Yup, they probably had it somewhere. I've been pointing nameservers here since 2007 and this is my first failure at both pointing and transferring. They took the payment as far as I know for the one year of service which won't start until 50 days or so from now I think. I don't know and I don't know where to find out more. I am in progress but yes, if they had that posted anywhere I could see it I would have waited. What I am wondering is why pointing my nameservers isn't working. I have 3 originally and now this one is stuck and the other two are in limbo and have been for a while now. I am not on it every day so I only learn stuff when I finally get in here. Like right now.
It wasn't a problem until I tried transferring. I let it drag on because I thought it might just be internet unrelated issues like too many people online. I guess I have to address it now.

It's been a few days now and a couple of domains, 3 to be exact, that I have pointed to WA have not come through and I just checked them.
They show that they have the point
When you go to whois.com and look up one of the domains does it show the WA servers for the name servers? If so, have you gone to Websites > Site Domains and added them under Other Domains?
Usually there is no trouble with it and this is the first time there's actually been a delay.
However, I looked up the process to just transfer the domain here to keep it simple and I am working on that with one of the domains to see how it goes. It might work out better than pointing domains.
