Welcome to WA! You have made a great choice. Exciting things are happening here, everyday, all day, 24/7/365. That means there is always some just a chat away to help you along the way if you run into a roadblock, so don't hesitate to ask. As a newbie, you are or you're going to be like a kid in a candy store, there is so much to see and do and information to soak in and you want it all. And you want it all right now, however, that can lead to a sugar rush (overwhelm) before you even get a chance to get started which won't be very enjoyable. So here are a few suggestions to your approach.
1. Breathe, it's not going anywhere. Take a little time in the very beginning to pop into different areas and see what's involved. Get the basic gist of things that are available. Definitely watch Kyle's video on the site walkthrough.
2. Focus on one thing at a time.
3. Make a list of the things you want to do and arrange them according to priority.
4. Get involved in the community, immerse yourself and make friends
5. Have fun and come back for more.
