The question isn't quite clear,
1) you don't " forward an affiliate link to a domain" you can use your link in a post, page or widget on the website you build on your domain!
2) to redirect, means when someone clicks the domain, instead of going to your website... You can 'redirect' them to anther place.... ie, your affiliate link for something.
