How to Lose Wealth, Love and Happiness

Hilda's blog on 8/29 on "The Joy of Doing What We Need to Do" and the exchange between her and Christabelle started me on a train of thought. Like Christabelle, I am a flower lover and they provide a significant part of my daily "warm fuzzies". In Oklahoma we have a short growing season so we see a rapid transition from seed to plant to bud to bloom to fade and replacement by the next beautiful flower. Like our own life, we can influence that some by having it in the best environment for it, giving it proper feeding and watering and protecting it from insects and other threats. But we cannot double it's life span or keep it forever. Just like our life, isn't it?

I, like a lot of others, have enjoyed watching Hilda's and numerous others blossom and bloom as a result of their exposure to a different type of thinking in the environment Kyle and Carson have created among WA members. Very frequently we come in wondering how much we can make and how soon we can get it and before long we are feeling more concern for others and trying to find ways to be helpful to others as we continue our growth and begin to first blossom and then to bloom. How many times have we seen from someone new on the scene and asking how soon can I make some bucks and how many can I make and caring members with our "fixed" response...focus on the lessons, do them thoroughly and don't move on without doing the assignments and understanding each.

Kyle mentioned, at one point, if you want to know about the path ahead ask someone coming back. So now to my point in hoping to be helpful to a person or two.

The hardest I have cried in my life was at about age 5 when I lost a nickel on the way to get an ice cream cone. I looked for it and cried for 3-4 hrs. because it had been a couple of months since my last one and I had no idea when the next would be. It was a big deal. I have been a millionaire a couple of times and I was able to cure that condition with divorce and a couple of other poor investments. I have had love and was able to get rid of that and by combining these skills I was able to get rid of happiness.

The good news is that, by trial and error, I have been able to grow myself enough to allow me to regain some of all of these and to have a life that I can truly love moment by moment and day by day. Here is what I hope may be helpful to some, as you prepare yourself, to achieve and to have all you feel you want. Prepare yourself for them, clarify their place in your life and please realize and believe that the more you can help others have what they need and want the more rewarded you will be in every way.

Develop a self that you can love because if you can't love you it is unlikely that some other will be able to. If you want love learn to give it and to nourish it so it can grow. Don't use it just to see how much you can get from it. If you have health learn to sustain it and to help your body by providing what it needs to maintain it. As you develop wealth learn to put your money to work so it can grow and use it to do good things so it also can be happier and want to stay with you. And lo and behold, if you do these things you will be filled with and surrounded by happiness and it will be your constant companion. If you have things you love hold them gently without squeezing so they can be with you by choice rather than because of a fear of leaving.

My best to each of you. Hilda is going to have a great week because she has planned to. After all....that is how we get them, isn't it?

Wisdom and inspiration as always. ~Marion

Thank you Marion. I hope things are moving along well for you. I get to pick up tidbits of help from you from all the places you pop up in the WA environment and appreciate your skills and knowledge.
Harold

Harol, Thank you for such a moving and wise piece. You write to easily.wprds flow like poetry.. What a joy to read, no matter the subject. the subject of flowers...taking the time to enjoy the marvel of them, and then making the alalogy of the change in people is so accurate. I relate to that style of writing. Keep on writing these perals of wisdom for if we try, we all learn from them. Thank you for being a good leader for us newbies. It is good you are here to guide us and nurture us through our journey at WA.

Words of wisdom you help me to understand the value of experience. true experience really teaches wisdom. Keep your inspirational work coming I do appreciate it

Thank you Clarence. I have read your bio and I would bet you a coke(I'm a big gambler) that most of what you say and feel would fit hundreds if not thousands of us here. With 2 billion people on the internet I firmly believe that if we take this program step by step and lesson by lesson and don't try to rush it or get ahead of our self that we can have some considerable success with it. It will take some time and effort and persistence but doesen 't anything that will set us up to have an ongoing income doing something as we wish and from where we wish? I am looking forward to following you Clarence so....inch by inch.

Oh Harold,
What an absolutely awesome blog filled to the brim and overflowing with incredible words of wisdom! So glad it is published, lol. Thank you for sharing these inspiring words of wisdom and for be willing to be open and share. That in itself reflects a remarkable strength you have grown into.
God's continued Blessings, Christa

Christa my thoughts stemmed from Hilda's blog and the exchange you and she had about the rose petals. I love flowers and have noted how the form a bud, bloom, fade and make room for the next beautiful bloom....just like people Their beauty gives me a nice endorphin rise on a daily basiss. Thank you for your note and the kindness and gentleness you spread throughout the community I hang out in.

Harold, You are too sweet! Have you ever seen Double Delight? If you haven't you should check it out, and the most fragrant is Fragrant Cloud! The fragrance is awesome! You will have to let me know what you think when you have a chance to enjoy them! Christa :)

Thank you Christa. Sometimes I wish I would not so affected by what I see but I am. I think a beautiful scene or beautiful flower has a positive effect on both of my brain cells! Have a great week Christa.
Harold

Me again Harold, :) He created the beauty of His creation for us to enjoy so of course it has an effect! Not only on our mind but with our other senses as well! I love being barefoot in the grass! There is a book called My Time In Heaven by Richard Sigmund. If you want to read about beauty, I highly recommend it! It is the most detailed description I have ever read, while at the same time confirming other accounts that I trust. God's Blessings, Christa :)

Thank you again Christa for all you offer to all of us.
Harold

Thanks for the inspiration, Harold, as always.

Carla, I have noted that you are like a great parent. No matter what we do you are always there with an encouraging word. Thank you for being Carla.
Harold

Yeah, I'm the ultimate caregiver, Harold. It's okay most of the time. Sometimes, though, I'd like to have someone do the same service for me. However, I will NOT stop. It's not in my nature. Thank you, my friend.

You are so welcome Carla and I understand completely what you are saying. It is very possible to appear so strong and wise that people assume you have all the answers and never give a thought that you might at times be human and need some love, support and encouragement. Best wishes to you.
Harold

I forgot to say...like Christa, you see beauty and kindness because that is your true nature.

Harold what a wonderful post! Thanks for your kind words. Needless to say, the self you have developed has given me the company and support I needed during these weeks. Your warm words of encouragement clearly reflect your own willingness to help, to give a hand when it is most needed. I am sure you will also have a great week because that is what a great human being like you deserves. I am sending you a big hug from the distance. Be blessed dear friend!
Hilda

Hilda, I replied to this yesterday but must not have hit the Reply button. Just want to be sure I thank you for that big hug. I just love those. Also I want you to know what an inspiration you have been to so many with your sincerity and the ferociousness with which you have attacked your goals and the success it has led to. It seems that, as humans, we all respond to authenticity and sincerity and you exude both. Best to you.
Harold

Harold you are a dear....consider yourself hugged again. Yes, I also enjoy hugs very much. You can not imagine how much I appreciate your warm words and the support you have given me almost since day one here. Blessings!
Hilda

Deep down you knew all these things…. but it is not about what you know…. it is about what you do with what you know…. it looks like you are on the doing side rather than the knowing side of life….. enjoy

I like this side best! Thank you for the thoughtful note.
Harold

I love your blog! One time I cried like you, as a child, I persuade my mom I had to have those shoes, and they where very expensive, the next day I was playing around on a bridge, and you can feel him coming, my shoe dissapeared in the water, I hopped home loud crying. My dad went straight to that bridge with a rake, but he didnot succeed to pull out my lovely new shoe, ever since I can not walk past a shoe shop, or would that have an other cause:) Loes

Loes, I sent you a note earlier about your fabulous photos. You know, I think the brain has a special place to store our most painful and our happiest times where they are never disturbed or removed. I so understand what you are saying. Best to you.
Harold

You are a man of wisdom attained through sorrows....is not that the way it seems that most of get there? Thanks for your thoughtful and revealing words. It is not easy to pull back the veil a bit and discuss our shortcomings and admit to a flaw or two. We fear rejection. Thanks for showing the way; for being genuine.

Thank you for. It is interesting to me that I have never read a response of yours that did not display a lot of depth and introspection and a genuine desire to be helpful. Thank you again.
Harold

I appreciate your observation. Like you, perhaps my behavior today is a function of, or driven by lost relationships caused by caustic behavior on my part. I strive to not act that way now.....Truthfully, it is easier in this type of forum than up close and in person...yet one step at a time, and practice practice practice.......

I so totally agree with your thoughts and perceptions.
Harold

And you are one of them. Every time I see a post from you I thin of that great Jimmy Stewart movie......

I am thinking Zuzu's petals....

Oh yeah...I am not confusing you at all with the little girl it is just that the names are a bit alike.....
